Yes They Can: CBS Goes Behind The Scenes With The Obama Campaign

This is interesting: Last night, Katie Couric ran a behind-the-scenes look at the campaign of Barack Obama on the "CBS Evening News," featuring such media quotables as Davids Axelrod and Plouffe, plus speechwriter Jon Favreau and deputy press secretary Ben LaBolt. No, everyone on the Obama campaign is not French. (They are all really young, though, with the exception of Axelrod.) It's a pretty thorough look at who runs the show (actually, there's a sign on the wall that reveals the ultimate boss: "Whatever Michelle says is the message"), and there's an interesting moment with Axelrod when Couric asks him about working against the Clintons after working on Hillary Clinton's Senate campaign previously. Said Axelrod: "That's why I hate primary elections, because they are sort of family fights, and you end up having to work against people you care about." Right. That's one family you don't want to go near on Thanksgiving. Watch below:
