Grannies

After Barack Obama offered his potential vice presidency to a senior citizen, CNN decided to let the new candidate-to-be air her views. But since the Democratic primary is still raging, the second guest pundit is a former Republican-turned-Hillary supporter (a Clintocan?).

It gets a little heated, particularly after a reference to "Obama bin Laden." It's an honest mistake (ask the board chair of the Associated Press).

I thought the Clinton grimmacing grannie was trying to say keep the vote in the family by going tracing back from Europe to America. She mentioned " our forefathers"-which Afican Americans were not a part of the voting or the writing of the constitution or the Presidents.

Obamagrama proved once angain like Obamagirl the enthusiatism and readiness to CHANGE American from the heart.

Everyone of the HillyBilly supporters are hardhearted, Like FOX Nuisances (news).

Last I checked....Winston Churchill wasn't a President of the United States.

And....aren't Barack and Michelle Obama a couple?

What kind of history are they teaching in Hoboken?

Ms. Weiss...YOU make a mature and convincing argument.

The two grannies were like light, sunny day and dark, moody night. Hope and fear. Clarity and idiocy. Obama attracts the young and the young at heart. It was a joy to watch the Obama granny. What a great representative! She was better than most mumbling Super Delegates. Did you notice the dicing and splicing of the original video to make it look as if she was scolding Barack at the event? Did you notice the obvious bias of the anchors as was revealed by the type of questions they asked? Did you notice how long it took for them to correct the (honest?) mistake of the second granny? I would have thought that it would be instantaneous correction.

The Obama campaign needs to make an ad with Granny and the Clinton Ad Girl.

I LOVE the 82-yr old Granny supporting Barack Obama. She makes more sense. Did you hear the voice of wisdom when she corrected the lousy "anchors" who tried to pin Obama as the "African-American" candidate? No, says Granny Obama, "he is an American candidate". I also love her invoking of Jesus. She was almost prayerful. Her picture should be hanging in White House when Barack becomes the president.
The Hillary granny, just like her candidate, has not overcome her racial biases which she imbibed as a Republican. Democrats do not need her kind of "converts" She and her cohort are the ones prolonging this nomination race. I her hate, she confused Obama with Osama. God will settle this race by Tuesday in Indiana and NC for the sake of our GREAT NATION!!!

More and more I see the Democratic primary campaign as being about generational change. Old people, for the most part, are drawnt to Hillary like moths to the flame based on nostalgia for the 90's and earlier historical epochs, fear, and the faulty assumption that they can trust one of their own. Yesterday, I saw a video clip of Obama addressing a group of senior citizens at a retirement home in Indiana. He was trying to explain how the Clinton/McCain gas tax holiday was a stunt that would benefit the oil companies much more than consumers. An old woman commented that it might be a short-term fix, but that most of her cohort were short-termers, so the scheme was a good idea. Hillary may prevail in the primaries, but we can at least look forward to the day when Democrats once again dominate the Democratic party, because so many of Hillary's supporters will be gone by the time the next election rolls around.

Interesting how the CNN anchor lead the Clinton Granny, suggesting that older people trending towards Clnton was indicative of their "maturity". Give me a break. Could they be any more transparent?

I have a theory. The MSM, switched to a defacto press room for the Clinton campaign as soon as Obama called them out on their bullsh!t during his "race speech". Even though they never played THAT sound bite, he attributed a lot of America's racial polarity to MSM coverage of racial issues, not just regarding this campaign, but news in America overall. Can anyone argue that isn't a valid complaint?

If I were a high school Social Studies Teacher, I would make my class watch Brain Springer's movie, Spin. It chronicles the '92 campaign against the backround of the LA Riots, and how the media covered the two. In the wake of Sean Bell, and Jeremiah Wright, it seems even more valid today.

YEP, everyone avoids that part of Obama's race speech. They skipped right over that and went to their Rev. Wright fixation. If people are gonna call it one of the greatest speeches in US history they should treat it like the great ones and examine the full context. The guilty parties can't face that truth.

Obama '08

compare these 2 grannies and you see exactly the two voting target groups.

the obama girl:

she is open hearted, nice, has a shiny glow in her eyes and talks about christian values. she is hungry for a vision. she shows spirit and energy. she is obviously well educated and eloquent. she also looks self confident and satisfied with what she has achieved in her live.

now take a look at the clinton fan:

she looks like a typical bitter undereducated clinton voter. she clings to her self made image with pictures of "the couple, look at the couple, what a wonderful couple, the couple..."as she repeats a dozen times, because she is either eloquent nor smart.

additionally she repeats the empty lies and dumb populistic phrases she has learned from the clinton spin. she has nothing to say herself and obviously has absolutely no vision and no clue.

in fact you see the grade of her bitterness in her dark and somehow sick looking eyes.

educated american citizens, please, stop this drama.

this time you really ALL MUST GO TO VOTE to finally end the circumstance that you get governed by these pathetic spinning liars, year after year.

dont let the not so well educated people in your country who vote in larger numbers than you again get caught into the trap of a policy-for-the-own-profit-and-power-politician.

make up your own destiny.

VOTE!

That's right. Stomp out all the old fools who don't vote for Obama. Stomp them out. We don't need them. We don't value them. Unless they bow to our king.

vsign,
Thank you, your response reinforces our already "positive" impression of the Hillary Clinton's crowd, including her "articulate", "credible", "intelligent", reasonable" and "logical" granny.

HEY VSIGN. It has nothing to do with age. I am 64 and I am a very progressive person and fell in love with Obama in 2004. It has to do with common sense and a sense of knowing someone decent when you see them and be able to look past one person's heritage or the color of their skin.
