Leslie Jordan's Memoir Of Substance Abuse And Sex Addiction

Four-foot-11 actor Leslie Jordan makes the tall claim that he's "the gayest man in the world." Whether or not that's true, he may be the lustiest.

In his dishy new memoir, "My Trip Down the Pink Carpet," the puckish veteran of such series as "Ally McBeal," "Boston Legal" and "Murphy Brown" unflinchingly describes his substance abuse and sex addiction. (One of the enduring mysteries of his life is waking up inside the gates of a lumberyard near West Hollywood's gay bars, unable to remember how he got there and why "I did not have on any underpants.")

But the funniest passages concern his seemingly endless crushes on his male (and mostly straight) co-stars.

"Dean Cain was stunning, and the sight of him strutting about in his Superman outfit was truly magnificent," Jordan gushes, recalling his cameo on "Lois and Clark." "I showed up on the set determined not to '­peter-gaze,' or at least not to get caught at it."

Leslie Jordan won an emmy as best support actor and he is only a guest star. Pretty impressive I say. I'm sure he's never heard of you either.

i checked out the lois & clark story and he's full of it. JORDAN's the one who was always strutting around in his superhero outfit. the scriptgirls were all checking him out. let me just say i'm not introducing my girl to anyone whose unit's only a foot above the ground. cain couldn't get a cup of coffee once jordan showed for the guest shot. jordan played a superhero in competition with superman. he billed the people he rescued for services and superman got all hung up about it. then he caught jordan with lois/teri hatcher. gayest man in the world? right! wilt chamberlain couldn't handle his action. lots of these celebs just pretend to be gay so they don't have to explain what they're wearing.

Whatever his private life, Leslie Jordan is a witty, fun and funny man and a top rate comedic actor. May he work for as long as he wants.

i liked him playing against megan mulalley (sp?) the hilarious divorcee on will & grace. the scene on the pool table set was really amusing. when he's on the balcony outside his penthouse, his "valet" has to hold him by the back of his pants so he doesn't blow away. watch for the will & grace ep guest-starring him.

I have been a fan of this guy's since the first time I saw him! He is hilarious, endearing and cute as a button (although I've never really figured out what's so cute about a button). Love live this adorable little guy!

I was on set once when Leslie Jordan walked in. As soon as he opened his mouth, the place went silent, for many reasons I would imagine. This little guy, who could fit into the palm of your hand, has quite a commanding personal presence.

Did anyone else kind of realize that Leslie sort of outs John Ritter with the Billy Bob Thornton's rope comment? I mean if you're a guy who looks at another man's penis and your first thought is 'love", you just might be kinda not all that straight.

Leslie Jordan is hilarious - I saw his one man show called "Like a dog on linoleum" about his life story. It was hilarious! He is so refreshingly honest about his life - good and bad. He's a great talent. I look forward to seeing his new show.
