The funniest part (not shown in this clip) was when some local guy was showing him the Coco de Mer, which looks like a woman's ass, complete with engorged pudenda. The one the guy had picked out seemed to be particularly turned on by being in the presence of Matt Lauer. Matt was clearly discomfited by having the thing sitting there while he tried to talk, and pushed it away. Way to out yourself Mr Lauer.

Matt Lauer should go to the areas that are having food shortages and potable water shortages and ask "What in the world are we doing about this?"

Maybe the GREEN NBC corporation should match every dollar that they are wasting on this outdated publicity stunt and giving it to world hunger funds or to ACTUAL Green organizations.

Mr. Vitton claimed that a mix-up in ticketing had left their office in the dark about the whereabouts of the 'morning mouthpiece'. We do have an A.P.B. out for Matt and we are confident that he will turn up....sooner or later." In fact, it's not the first time the absent-minded host has gone missing. In 2004, Lauer was supposed to broadcast from Christmas Island in the Pacific. Instead, he called in from a Christmas tree farm in Vermont. "Understandable mistake", claimed NBC. "Yuh...right", said ABC's Charlie Gibson. Meanwhile, NBC announced they are offering a $179.00 reward and a 'Today' show t-shirt for anyone who locates the map challenged host, and executives have apparently okayed a budget request for a GPS.
