Barack Obama went on the David Letterman show Thursday to deliver the evening's Top 10 list, "Top 10 Surprising Things About Barack Obama." Not to be out done, Hillary Clinton is scheduled to appear on Letterman this Monday to, naturally, deliver the Top 10 list. From the Los Angeles Times' Top of the Ticket blog:

Obama had delivered a Top Ten list back in January, but Clinton is a veritable mainstay for Letterman. The CBS release announcing her latest appearance notes that it will be the 11th time she's been a part of the program.

And, actually, perhaps there is a fairness question surrounding the chance Clinton gets for friendly exposure on a broadcast network on the eve of the North Carolina and Indiana primaries.

CNN IS THE NEW FOX !!!! As a news/political junkie I've always noticed how the media has led us like sheep regarding our invasion of Iraq. Daily I'd flip through cable news shows in search of TRUTH. I felt long ago, and Huffington recently exposed, how the military 'experts' were being paid by the Pentagon (aka Bush regime) to lie and mislead the American people regarding Iraq. This means all the cable networks have been part of this manipulation. NOW I'M NOTICING A NEW TREND AT CNN !!!! CNN has quietly made changes that are a bit scary. First, they brought Keran Gentry from Fox. Their overall tone started sounding more GOPish. They took Solidad and Miles, replaced them with John Roberts and Campbell Brown (husband works at Fox). Added Tony Snow (formerly of Fox and Bush's Press spokesperson)...now the addition of Bush's former spokewoman Francis Townsend. Also, flip from CNN to FOX during Live broadcasts you'll see that they are using the same camera source, ie....WORKING TOGETHER !! These changes mean only 1 of 2 things. They expect Obama to get the nomination and want to join Fox (and much of MSNBC) in attacking him......or they've been notified by the regime that something big (bomb Iran?) is ahead....Either way the manipulative media is getting set for massive lieing.... Fooled us once (Iraq War)....but as they say....NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know, the Fairness Doctrine hadn't occurred to me re Hillary's Monday night tradition of being on broadcast TV prior to major primaries, especially on Letterman, this till I read this post.

A little late now and unnecessary as Obama has locked the pledged delegate lead, but a question that should be discussed and resolved by the FCC prior to 2012.

How silly you all are! It's up to Letterman to invite guests on his show, not the other way around.

Like the Republicans and mainstream media, the Clintons need this race to drag on and on and on.

"Slander and pander" is the Clinton campaign policy. Truth is secondary. That's a good international leader qualify.?

Let's see, the night before the Pennsylvania primary she shows up on Larry King Live. The night before the Indiana primary she will appear on the David Letterman show.

Hmmm, didn't we once have a Fairness Doctrine that prohibited this type of behavior? And was it a Republican or Clinton administration that emasculated it? Sometimes it is so hard to tell the difference...

She said he is the copy cat??? He appeared on Fox, then she did. He appeared on Lettermen, now she is. I guess that's because she said she lways has to go first. She just wants to get the last word in. I can honostly see why Bill had affairs.

I seem to remember the Clinton campaign refer to Obama as a "copycat" for appearing on Stephen Colbert... I guess, just as they treat every other disingenuous attack on Senator Obama, they are immune from their own criticism.
