Clinton Superdelegates Would Reconsider If Obama Maintains Lead

Hillary Rodham Clinton, stung last week by the defection of a prominent superdelegate, could lose the backing of more of these Democratic Party leaders and elected officials if she fails to make significant gains in the remaining month of presidential nominating contests, several California superdelegates said this weekend.

Two of the five superdelegates aligned with Clinton who spoke at the annual California Democratic Convention here said they would reconsider their support if rival Barack Obama maintained his lead in elected delegates and the popular vote after the last contests on June 3.

I find it very unfortunate that America has not yet learnt any lessons over the last eight years.
If you had Hillary Clinton would have been long gone from this race, and there would not be any racial overtones in this election.
You will continue to reap what you sow. Sow fear and ignorants or Sow honour, truth, and openess.
The decision is truly your. I wish you the best.

I hate that the media has turned this into a racial election. They are using Rev. Wright as a racial wedge issue even though the Clintons know him well. Neither of them said that they not only knew Wright, but that they had invited him to the white house when Bill had his Monica issue. This is deceitful and disgusting.

If people don't know who Barack Obama is by now - they don't want to know. He is the only candidate telling us the truth, which he said he would do. He is counting on the American people to be smarter this time. If you look at where we are and who put us there, there is NO WAY you can vote for anyone who has been in office for the last 20 years. Look at what all that "experience" got us. It's time for a change and Obama is that change. This is an honorable man which is why they can't find anything bad on him so they look at his pastor. This is a weak argument to use against him. So they make it about race. It sickens me.

The media is controlled by the same special interests that fund and run the Clinton and McCain campaigns.
Why no Hagee grilling for McCain?
Why no questions about Clinton's "Fellowship" prayer group?
Why no grilling about Bill taking money from Columbia for the trade deal?
on and on...

Obama is funded by over 1,300,000 American citizens - like me.
Compare that to Clinton and McCain - campaigns funded & run by lobbyists...

"IF they publish all of the things behind Barack Obama ..."

The MSM has been relentlessly expounding on all of the things "behind Barack Obama" for the last two months, and their silence on "all of the things behind" Senator Clinton and Senator McCain has been deafening! Nonetheless, even with the media's blatant disfavor for Obama and their collective exposure of guilt by association and false allegations against him, he is still winning, and the super delegates are still defecting Clinton's campaign to endorse him.

Have you been paying any attention to the news at all?

Allesandro is correct. The MSM and Axelrod has been feeding our party with two spoons the notion Obama is prefered while the lazy do-nothings go along with it.
Note: Reid on the Daily Show. Pathetic.

Obama supporters have been called a lot of things, but "lazy" is a new one...

If we were lazy, Hillary would probably be waltzing to her coronation by now.

Obamalamadingdongs,
Where did it all go so terribly wrong?
Karma?

Exactly. It went all wrong for Hillary when she decided to serve up right-wing bile rather than campaign on issues.

The Clinton who campaigned in California did not talk about guns and nuclear attacks - and Bill wasn't working the bay area talking about Jesus and asking for prayers. Bill and Hillary in NC and PA are the exact opposite of the Clintons who ran in California.

I don't have that much interest in educating Obama fanatics on how flawed he is or his criminal campaign. Let the Republicans do that when its too late for the swooning bobbysoxers.

More personal attacks (fanatic, bobbysoxers) - not about issues, not about politics, not about candidates - but attacks on supporters. Keep it up. Mark Blackwater Penn was paid millions to come up with that campaign tactic. Just keep in mind that's exactly what you're doing. I've noticed that the usual litany (zombies, cultists, koolaid, messiah hasn't been mentioned much since people finally figured out that it really wasn't their idea after all.

If anyone is a criminal (who rightly belongs in jail for fraud and intimidation of witnesses) it's your Great Leader who can do no wrong - Hilary Clinton.

Rebels who have stepped up attacks on Nigeria's oil industry in the last month said on Sunday they were considering a ceasefire appeal by U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) has launched five attacks on oil facilities in the Niger Delta since it resumed a campaign of violence in April, forcing Royal Dutch Shell to shut more than 164,000 barrels of oil per day (bpd).

"The MEND command is seriously considering a temporary ceasefire appeal by Senator Barack Obama. Obama is someone we respect and hold in high esteem," the militant group said in an e-mailed statement.

The Obama lead is a fraud based on phoney caucuses and voter suppression with Florida and Michigan.
These weak Democrats do nothing to back our winners yet offer praise to corruption and defeat.

PHONEY caucuses??? Have they always been phoney, or just became phoney when Hillary started losing them?

Voter SUPPRESSION? Were there rules? Were there penalties? Did someone dishonor the rules and does that someone now want to change the rules? I agree that Florida and Michigan should be counted, even though rules and agreements were broken. However, it must be fair; yet it is Hillary who wants ALL the delegates and ALL the votes even though ALL the voters did not come out to vote in Florida, since the rules were discounting their delegates and votes, and ALL of the candidates, including Senator Obama, were not even on the ballot in Michigan. The only fair way to seat the delegates is 50/50 ... and Hillary still can't win this fraudulent, phoney and corrupt election!

Nonsense. Obama didn't design this primary system he just worked it better than Hillary, who had every Poll from the past 20 years on her side almost. If she wanted to listen to Mark Penn and Patty Solis than hey, guess what, she got her ass kicked. No one told her she had to front load all her money, no one told her to raise money for the general before the primaries even started. She ran a bad campaign and guess what. In the real world when you run a bad campaign you lose.Where was hillary's stand on Florida and Michigan before she needed them? She said many times that they shouldn't count, she signed the pledge just like everyone else and after everyone else took their name off the ballot in Michigan she said, psyche. We'll seat Mi and FL the day Obama gets the nomination.

It is clear that Hillary wouldn't have a pray of winning the general election. It's easier to convince Clinton supporters to vote for Obama than the opposite.

Newt Gingrich told Bill O'Reilly Hillary would be the nominee.

I guess as an Obama supporter I should give up now? ROTFLMAO!

Given the amount of voter fraud/tampering it is possible that Newt knows what he is talking about.

I picked up that vibe from Bill Kristol as well. He was talking like he knows that Hillary would steal NC as well. He was so confident she could win.

MSM has been trying to prepare us mentally as well.

Since when were 8-9% margins considered toss ups?

But they keep reiterating that both States are Toss Ups.

To brainwash peoeple into believing that so they can say if she does manage to stuff ballots in NC that its a genuine upset.

Clintons have no conscience. No morality. No shame. No Values. That's what makes them the Ideal Candidates. That's why they win.
