With the Clinton campaign widely viewed as being on its last legs, staffers are now more free than ever to dish out some dirt on the many strategic blunders of Mark Penn.

The latest: At a strategy session last year, Penn reportedly said that a Clinton win in California would effectively wrap up the nomination by awarding her all of the state's 370 delegates.

This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. They also had no clue as to the hybrid nature of the Texas system. The biggest problem with the whole premiss of Clinton as a presidential candidate was that it confused brand-name recognition and insider trading with a campaign. No where did anyone count on the voters actually being real people feed up with our sorry state of affairs.

Why is this being stated as if it's past tense? To this day, Clinton's people fail to (or chose not to) understand the rules of how we are keeping score in this nomination.

Well, that certainly explains HRCs latest round of complaints..if I were a republican, I'd have won by now....guess she didn't get the memo from Penn that he mistakenly thought she was one. I'd also like to point out...the Clinton's aren't dumb about politics, they knew the rules (afterall they helped design them)...so trying to push this off onto Penn is just ludicrous.

Can you imagine how she would run the country if she didn't even know the basic rules of winning the campaign?

What I'm I doing wrong --- CEO's run businesses into the ground and get buy-outs worth millions --- Political "experts" like Penn screw up presidential campaigns and get paid millions. There is a lesson here ....
