Rush Limbaugh Now "Backs" Obama

He has publicly urged Republicans to vote for Hillary Clinton to keep the divisive Democratic nomination fight alive, but talk radio host Rush Limbaugh said Wednesday it's Barack Obama who he really wants to be the party's nominee.

"I now believe he would be the weakest of the Democrat nominees," Limbaugh, among the most powerful voices in conservative radio, said on his program. "I now urge the Democrat supereldegates to make your mind up and publicly go for Obama."

I supported Kerry because I thought he was an intelligent man, whose policies were much better than Bush's. But what's amazing is how irrelevant and irrational John Kerry has become in his support of Obama and in his attempt to compensate for what he failed to do in 2004 when he didn't fight back.

Where is Kerry's evidence?

Rush Limbaugh wasn't able to get his candidate nominated or stop the nomination of McCain, whom he hated. So why does anyone think that he has the power to effect the Dem election.

When republicans vote for Obama, his supporters claim that it's because he can unite the party. When republican vote for Hillary, Obama's supporters claim that it's because Rush told them to.

Frankly it's more likely that disaffected republicans would support Hillary, whose policy positions in many areas are less liberal than Obama's.

I wouldn't say the left is pissed off. Limbaugh and Coulter amuse themselves by thinking that they rile up the left, but they are old hat. Most of the left see them as the obnoxious, attention craving blowhards that they are. They are both a joke.

Now if you want to talk about pissing someone off, I do think it's funny how pissed off the right gets at Michael Moore. I think that's because there is actual substance behind his message.

I live in Washington State and our moderately-sized, working class, predominantly white smallish town was all over Obama. The whole state is.

I guess Senator Kerry has forgotten how during the Texas primary, Republicans were urged to vote for Obama so that Hillary could be stopped, and that Republican voters did this.
