John Edwards still isn't backing a candidate in this year's Democratic primary race - but it looks like he might be ready to pick a winner.

The former presidential candidate told interviewers on NBC and MSNBC that Barack Obama will probably top the Democratic ticket this fall.

Edwards has really disappointed me. I liked him, thought he would have made a decent president but just did not have that ???? to get the people to pay attention to what he was saying but now.........i know where clinton got her cajones, she took John's.

Sort of... My primary reason for not supporting Edwards was his performance with Cheney in 2004. To much holding back and thinking about the consequences, rather than telling us what he thinks.

Unfortunately, the Edwards' are concerned about health care plans that need to be discussed, developed, and executed. A Canadian like plan is likely the only one which will be effective, but nobody in their right mind is going to put it on the table until after the election. Getting the support of companies like GM is possible today, and the likely precursor.

Well John. Find a cause and work towards it, but we have heard little of consequence since dropping out.

He, along with most supers, is terrified of Sen Clinton. He will back Sen Obama June 3, when the coast is clear.

LOL! Great headline. Everything about Edwards has been "sort of."

Still, I think he'd be a great asset to the Security Council as Labor Secretary, and I hope we have a chance to have him take that post.

Edwards is right.

It is time for the Democrats to come together and to focus on the election in November.
