Obama Focuses On November, Clinton On West Virginia

Today's primary in West Virginia matters so little to the Democratic presidential nomination race that front-runner Barack Obama will spend the day in Missouri and Michigan, two battleground states in the fall's general election.

Obama, who has racked up a commanding lead in delegates to the nominating convention over rival Hillary Clinton, for the first time opted to spend the day of a primary election in states that have already voted.

I am listening to Hillary's victory speech live, and there is no way this woman is ready to concede the nomination. Isn't this a kind of spectacle, her making this WV victory out to be a game-changer, when it's impossible for her to catch Obama? Or is it that she thinks whole swathes of superdelegates will flocki to her after tonight, finally convinced that Obama can't take the states he needs to beat McCain?

Talk of KKK rally stirs outrage in community

An unsubstantiated posting on a white supremacist Web message board that publicized a Ku Klux Klan rally at an unspecified time or place Saturday in Redding sparked outrage in the community.

Although it was unknown if the KKK rally was indeed held on private land somewhere in Redding, news of the possible gathering ignited indignation among many Shasta County residents.

I don't think she's racist, she's just trying to appeal to people who want to know that somebody will be looking out for them. Isn't that exactly why Obama got 91% of the black vote in N.C.? Its just a matter of "who is like me". I really do NOT believe that half of the Democratic party is racist. If it is, how can he win the general election?
