Dems Launch McCainPedia Site

The DNC will tomorrow launch "McCainPedia," a wiki-like hub of their opposition research on the GOP nominee.

The site features a bevy of articles and documents organized into such categories as "economy," "security" and "ethics."

Unlike WIkipedia, though, the general public (and McCain's campaign) can't offer their own edits to the material.

Let's take back our country. I challenge the US people to think about how we as a people allow ourselves to be miseducated. The emergence of Bin Laden videos can no longer hold us captive. The GOPs will have us believe that the US government have been seaching for Bin Ladin for eight years and cannot find him. But neither George Bush nor John McCain wants the public to believe that Bin Laden is not out there somewhere. Bin Laden is the mythical figure that has kept the GOP's party in power for two terms.

People, let's think for ourselves; Mr. tough guys George Bush and McCain would have crusshed Bin Laden if they wanted. Such a man could not have held the US hostage for 8 years under their regime? Bush wanted Sadam and his family and he got them. If he wanted Bin Laden he would have gotten him as well. If Bin Laden is not alive, the GOP is keeping him alive to ensure they stay in power eternally as we (their percieved whimps) forever seek shelter under the GOPs ficticious safety net. The GOPs have secretly made themselves into our God and have us believe they are the only ones who can shield us from imminent danger. They have caused us to develop generalized anxiety out of fear for Bin Laden. Wake up - The only Bin Laden we need to fear is George Bush and McCain.

As long as it's done in a tasteful way and the site makes note of the FACTS, I think this is a wonderful way to inform the American people. The Democratic party has a great reputation for sticking with the issues because our standing on most policies resinate with the views of more Americans.

I mean, I'm glad to see that the Democrats have finally realized that they can't count on the corporate media to get the truth out. I suppose the recent spate of "I love you, John" articles appearing in everything from the New York Times to the Christian Science Monitor has been a wake-up call they couldn't ignore. But there must be better ideas than McCainPedia out there.

I love it. You can't claim you are being smeared if only facts are used. The truth is, some people will some things in his record and applaud. However, if you are reasonable and intellectually honest, you will see how he flips and flops like a fish out of water. May his presidential aspirations rest in peace.
