Anyone claiming to be a Democrat who would actually sacrifice our nation to another 4 years of
Republican destruction is no Democrat... Everything we hold sacred, like oh I don't know, perhaps
freedom to publicly disagree with our leaders and certainly choice and more lives of young people
who have volunteered to defend our country. All of these things will continue to erode and along with
habeas corpus will be at serious risk of vanishing. All of this so that this lady can "get" our presumptive nominee. This is sad and ridiculous and old Geraldine needs to go away and practice her new Republican tactics in private. I have found Hillary to be negative and divisive and not honest and
not a comfort to me, however, if she were the nominee I would gladly vote for her. We need to go
in another direction and anyone with a brain can see that McCain will not go there. Just think of

McCain is NOT liberal -- just because someone doesn't completely toe the Republican party line (which McCain is doing more and more the closer we get to November) does not make them liberal.

I agree that someone shouldn't necessarily vote for party loyalty. But the current dominance of the Right (even if they no longer have majorities in Congress, they still dominate and set the agenda for the national political conversation) is the result of careful planning over decades and a deliberate strategy involving complete party unity. We're finally starting to see that crack apart. I would argue that now is NOT the time to make a statement; now is the time Democrats need to come together to get the NeoCons and their dangerous, selfish, sexist, theocratic policies out of the White House.

Does that mean that some will have to suck it up and vote for a candidate they'd rather not have -- yes. But make no mistake that EITHER Obama or Clinton would be better than McCain. Remember that Presidents are supported by entire administrations, and I would much rather have an administration chosen and led by a Democrat than by McCain.

McCain is anti-choice. is against equal pay for women,anti-benfits to the military, he has stated that there will be more wars, he wants to continue Bushie's elimination of constitutional rights( except the second amendment), he wants to appoint more judges like Scalia and Alito, He wants to actually increase the tax cuts for the well off by cutting benefits to the not wealthy, He wants to privatize Social Security, he wants to save employers from paying for health benifits by forcing individual Citizens to negotiate with insurers ( with no more group policies through employers the insurance companies can pick and choose their insured, thus ensuring that sick people won't cost them money. McCain says he is a conservative Republican, is he a liar on this?

Take a look at the record. McCain has NEVER been a liberal. His "maverick" image comes from having disagreed with the administration in small details on some side issues.

The American Conservative Union gave McCain a lifetime rating of 82%, which means he voted their way over 4 out of five times. In contrast the liberal Americans for Democratic Action gives him a lifetime rating of 13%.

These ratings would have been ever further apart if McCain hadn't tacked a bit to moderate positions when running in 2000, when his ADA rating went up to 40% before plunging yet again. For the most recent complete year his ADA rating is 10%.

If you adhere to conservative principles, go vote for him. Otherwise, stick with the Democratic nominee.

Ferraro should be ashamed and ignored by super-delegates. What did Bill Clinton say, "if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen" and "politics is a contact sport so get used to it". Suggest Hillary and Geraldine listen to Bill.

If Hillary were to become the nominee will she play the sexist card? If she became the President how would she behave at meetings with world leaders? Would she try to play the sexist card? Other women leaders have not. These people need to remember that having a woman leader is not a novelty in many countries. If you knew much about Margaret Thatcher (British Prime Minister) you would see why Hillary Clinton just hasn't got what is needed to a world leader. Hillary is no Margaret!

This was when Hillary desperately needed the votes. Could it be that Hillary decided to continue her campaigning pass June 3rd and once again utilizing Ferraro for the same purpose?

Independent of what your answers maybe, is it possible to just ignore someone with a divisive comment like Ferraro, or a Hillary supporter, or a republican pretending to be one of us, and stop real Democrats from further dividing? I certainly don't agree with what Ferraro has said and believe a high ranking official like her should be setting a good example for the younger generations but being negative at this point brings us NOwhere. I watched the NBC"s Today show interview with Geraldine Ferraro and I have to say as a woman I was offended by it. Hillary Clinton and her campaign have done and said very objectionable and shameful things during this campaign. They"ve attacked his character, the accused of being an elitist, they implied that he was not a Christian or his church had ties to Hammas.
While she was talking to some voters in New Hampshire she started crying and saying "it"s not easy, it"s not easy." Well guess what, it"s not. Nobody said it was. She claims she has 35 years of experience. She"s apparently counting 16 years of being a wife of a governor or president experience. Well if she"s taking credit for those years, then she should take the blame for the failed policies as well. She dishes it out but she can"t take it. She claimed he was out of touch and she was in touch.
Everywhere she went she pretended to be one of them. She lied about sniper fire; she claimed she wasn"t for NAFTA. He couldn"t attack her for the chance that would cause people to take pity on her and when he didn"t attack her, they accused him of being weak.
So, I understand that Ms. Ferraro sees the world as bias against women. But I don"t think you have to act like a man to win.

She hit home for me why I find the term feminist a dirty word. She build Hilary up as the victim but IGNORE the fact that she gave worse to Obama than she got in return. Its these people that give feminism a bad name. They want to play the victim blame it on their victimization status but believe that they have the right to step on anyone on their way tot he top. I could care less how she votes or what she does. I wasted a vote on her when she was that Party standard bearer and was thrilled that a woman was in the position to be the VP of America. I'm wondering then - what was the women's vote when Geraldine ran on the national ticket? I'm assuming she had little or no impact on the numbers, but I wonder if all the vitriolic Hillary supporters now were as fervent for Geraldine back then. I think not. Geraldine owes us more than she's shown these days. She should cast her vote in silence, endorse who she wants to, and not create division.

After reviewing what is occurring, the latest comments by Geraldine seem nothing more than an extortion play. Geraldine is unhappy with being pushed out of the campaigns for her remarks. Now she realizes that Hillary will not win and as such, Geraldine realizes that she will have no position of power in the Democrat Party going forward.

Her response is to push up the rhetoric as she is doing here and hope that someone in the party or the Obama campaign will offer her some sort of appeasement position/opportunity. Personally, I hope the party and the campaigns see through these old politics and tell Gerry to hit the road.

She is a Roman Catholic, so she supports a male dominated (sexist) institution. To my knowledge, she has but protested against the behaviour of her priests' sexual molestation of yound boys.
Why make an issue of her sexist perseption of Obama and not of the well documented sexist behaviour of her church leadership?
