The U.S. government announced that it will label the polar bear as a threatened species in order to protect it. Coincidentally, this comes right on the heels of the GOP losing a House seat to a Democrat in a rock-ribbed conservative district in Mississippi.

Might the government also list the GOP as endangered? It might be necessary when they look at how the polar bear and the GOP stack up.

Polar bear is certainly worth to protect than millions of living humans in Gaza that is now being strangled to extinction by Israel, a country protected by USA.

The headline should read, "Polar Bears Join GOP on U.S. List of Threatened Species." The way it's worded now suggests that the GOP already has Polar Bears listed, and the U.S. is now joining them. Somehow I doubt that the GOP would take the lead in any environmental cause.

If anyone thinks that the polar bears are a "threatened species" is kidding themselves . . . the polar bear population has increased massively over the past 20 years.

This is about the environmentalists setting up another road block from the USA drilling in Alaska. If they were really that threatened, people in other countries wouldn't be hunting them for sport.

I see you keep peddling your lies, neocon troll.

Now, here's some SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE that proves you don't know what you're talking about:

"In Nunavut, some Inuit have reported increases in bear sightings around human settlements in recent years, leading to a belief that populations are increasing. Scientists have responded by noting that hungry bears may be congregating around human settlements, leading to the illusion that populations are higher than they actually are."

Polar bears are more important than humans.
