Sue Simmons Gets More Air Time A Week After Dropping F-Bomb

WNBC is making another evening newscast change, and this one will install the channel's two leading anchors, Chuck Scarborough and Sue Simmons, at 6 p.m.

"Chuck and Sue" currently anchor the station's 11 p.m. newscast. WNBC, the flagship New York affiliate of NBC, thinks the duo could improve its audience share at 6 p.m., leading into "NBC Nightly News" at 6:30.

Ms. Simmons and Mr. Scarborough have co-anchored at 6 and 11 p.m. off and on for three decades.
