Watch And Hear Keira Knightley Sing (VIDEO)

A clip has hit the web of Keira Knightley singing Blue Tahitian Moon in a scene from "The Edge of Love," which costars Sienna Miller and Cillian Murphy, with a screenplay written by Knightley's mom Sharman Macdonald. The Edge of Love, says IMDB, "tells the story of two feisty, free-spirited women are connected by the brilliant, charismatic poet who loves them both." And Keira sings. It opens in the UK next month.

She is a pretty girl, and a good enough actress, although not top tier. Her voice here? I would describe it as "ok" not great, but certainly good enough to get a gig, although simon would kick her off idol in two seconds flat, if that means anything. Maybe she is just one of those naturally skinny folks, bu I agree with one of the previous commenters. I hope she is not starving herself. IMHO, 15 or 20 more pounds would look screamin' good on her

It's not a *bad* voice, but it is very unusual. It sounds like the type of old-fashioned betty-boopish voice of yore; tinny, shaky, and high-pitched.

I'm wondering if she is singing that way on purpose for the film. Her speaking voice is pretty rich and low.

Seriously? JJL blows NK's doors off as an actress? WTF?

I suppose with typically precious few good leading roles for women anyway, there
are even fewer for American women.

she really is a pretty girl, but i've always wondered about her roles in so many "period" films... she is such a skinny little slip of a girl; by today's standards, a beauty, i suppose (i think she is pretty), but by the standards of the times that she plays in these various films, she would have been considered sickly, she is so thin. just my silly two cents.
