Bill Clinton

On Saturday a video surfaced on YouTube containing an audio recording of Bill Clinton from a private fundraiser said to have been held on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 in North Carolina in which he discusses the Michigan and Florida delegate situation. After delivering an explanation of how the delegate deadlock came to be, Clinton concludes by saying, ""probably the only option is to seat them under our rules, as half delegates." This is significant in that the Clinton campaign has publicly insisted, right up until the DNC meeting today, that it wanted each delegate restored in full.

Listen to the recording.

There you go again. President Clinton said that waaaaaaaaay back in April. The goal posts have been moved at least twice since then by the Clinton campaign. Keep up, will you?

I don't really think there's a story here. What the Clintons want and what they think is going to happen can be two different things.

That lying cheating scoundrel, thank goodness his wife lost, we will no longer have to listen to his nonsensical diatribes.

Today I am too happy to be really angry at the loser wild Bill, from here on out whatever he has to say will be quickly dismissed as sour grapes.

Say goodnight Hillary and start getting accustomed to referring to Barack Obama as Mr. President.

Anybody that believes a word about Obama "killing the revote" in Michigan like Bill just said is a moron. There is no evidence to this whatsoever and the Clintons are proven pathological liars - especially when it comes to person gain.

There is no question that both Obama and Clinton played hardball wit this.
Certainly you know he aquired his first political office by disqualifying the nominating petitions of all his opponents?
I still support him, BTW, but it's not healthy to confuse Hillary with Satan or Obama with Jesus.

I didn't oppose the revote because Obama "instructed" me to. I opposed it because it was going to be privately funded by outside vendors. Knowing the history of election fraud in Florida, how could anyone have believed in the validity of a recount conducted in such a fasion? As was pointed out in the RBC meeting, if that would have happened, there were have been 2 disputed elections in Florida.

It is truly extraordinary how people like Terry McAuliffe, Harold Ickes and, of course, bill and hillary can argue opposite positions virtually simultaneously without irony, shame or accountability. McAuliffe says in his own book that you have to follow the party's rules on primary sequence; Ickes voted for the rules as a member of the DNC; hillary agreed to the sequence for 2008; and here bill is saying that half votes is the best remaining option.

There are numerous words for this behavior: lies, hypocrisy, shamelessness, deceit, manipulation and, of course, insanity. And hillary represents what her supporters believe in so passionately? Hey, if the foo shits.

Do the "IfHllaryDoesntWinI'llVoteForMcCain" supporters feel like the complete tools they are yet?

Can they see how their loyalty has been misused to further Hillary's ambitions? Its not about you, dear 'disenfranchised' voter. Its about Hillary. It has ALWAYS been about Hillary.

But I suspect you know that. It is why you're so angry. Just dont project your anger onto Obama. He is not the one who disenfranchised you and then deluded you into thinking you were being disenfranchised.

Now you know what a used tampon feels like.

All the Clintons look tired and worn out. How come we did not hear more from all these people after Al Gore was cheated out of the 2000 election? Bill now refers to Obama as " him ". I guess I will refer to Bill from now on as just plain "sad ".

The Clintons are caught in yet another lie so Eddee49 feels compelled to change the subject.

In this conflict between the Obama and Clinton camps, I think everybody needs to be mindful of the old saying, "Be careful what you wish for, because you might get it." That said, I wish that all of the negative energy that the two camps have hurled at each other could be redirected to land on the Swift Boat Veterans. Somebody needs to take the lead in starting to criticize them. It should be flatly said that 1) their service to their country was insignificant and that there is no reason anyone should feel any gratitude for it, 2) they have displayed ignorance of, and contempt for, our traditionis of conostitutionl rights, 3) their actions have had the effect of treating minority groups with contempt and injustice, and 4) their actions have had the effect of widening the gap between the rich and the poor. In short, it's not the Swift Boat Veterans, itt's the you-think-up-a-condignly-pejorative-characterization Veterans.

And to think I stood ready to defend them both (in the heart Republican territory in the panhandle of Florida) during the impeachment hearings. I knew they were manipulative but DAMN.

I watched the entire hearing all day Saturday and just when I thought the Clinton campaign could stoop no lower, there were people there who actually would rather STEAL the nomination. When it was all said and done, I turned off the T.V. absolutely disgusted by the fact that there are people like Ickes (the Clinton advocate) who apparently has NO SHAME and are so CROOKED, that they really think that stealing the nomination would be in the best interest of both the PARTY and country.

What a disgrace! And to hide behind the notion of 1 person 1 vote is just as funny when even Hillary had stated the votes would not count. To be honest, now I know just what kind of person she is because like it or not, Hillary leaving her name on the Michigan ballot is a CLEAR indication that SHE CAN NOT BE TRUSTED any more than BUSH.

Hillary never ceases to AMAZE me.

I might have missed it, but the HBO release of Recount had a strange timing I haven't seen mentioned in the media, just before this meeting. Then Clinton goons had that "count every vote" strategy. They didn't mention a word about Michigan being an open primary. Nobody has any idea how many votes for Clinton are for real Desptie what they're saying now, the GOP wanted to face Clinton. People like Larry Kudlow and the Wall Street types see Clinton as closer to the GOP if McCain were to lose, but easier to beat than Obama.

Limbaugh was spouting for months about that strategy and hardly a word about that in this discussion about who has what support. I find that odd.

Due to the magic of video and audio, the Clintons have been caught lying about almost everything. They might consider trying the truth---it's easier and less embarrassing.
