Heidi Montag And Spencer Pratt Have Made $3 MILLION In Two Years: Report

MTV's "The Hills" Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are one the most photo and press-friendly couples on tv, and they know how to cash in on it.

In Touch Weekly claims:

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag may be one of the most controversial couples on television -- but they're laughing all the way to the bank. Since coupling up on The Hills two years ago, the pair have raked in about $3 million from their TV salaries, club appearances, photo shoots and business deals. "We are trying to entertain in every aspect of our lives," Heidi says. "Reality stars are grasping for their 15 minutes of fame," notes David Scott Sloan, a private wealth services lawyer who doesn't work with them. "And it looks like Heidi and Spencer are trying to make the most of their chance." For Heidi, 21, that means also pursuing a music and acting career. "I plan to win an Oscar," she says. "I'm very ambitious." Although the couple haven't made any money off her singing yet, Spencer, 24, who is also Heidi's manager, is very optimistic about their financial future. "My hustle is just too crazy," he says. "I'm trying to take over the world!"

everything being said about these two is obvious and deserved. I'm actually having a hard time coming up with anything new that matters. ok, how about this: our country allowed george w. bush to occupy the white house for eight years. we deserve these idiots...

The really sad part about these two (and so many other 'famous for nothing' people) is that they can get exposure on a site like this! Most of these talentless reality people (I refuse to call them 'stars') are followed by the media as though who they are really matters in the world!

I say boycott talentless reality people! Don't encourage them in any way. Watch their shows if you will, but then let them fade into the background where they came from!

Let's really honor those that are making a difference in our lives - teachers, policemen, firemen, whatever! And if those reality people have any talent, let them earn our respect - let them pay their dues so that in time we can see if they are really worth our attention.

I've heard of 'the Hills" but that's about it. So why are we paying attention to these two? Especially the slob of a guy?

Exactly - I looked at this picture and said to myself, "Who are they?" Never seen 'em before, and I watch a lot of TV, cable, media, internet etc. Well, except for MTV. I guess we'd know who they are if we watched MTV. Only problem with that is that I stopped watching the "Music" TeleVision channel when they stopped showing music on that channel (i.e., the late 80's :)

I'm afraid to admit it, but I have watched "The Hills," despite being way older than the target demographic.
Basically, this Spencer Guy is some rich kid, as he drives a 745 BMW (or maybe the more expensive one) despite not seemingly to work.
Heidi is his annoying (they're both annoying) girlfriend/fiance? I haven't watched recently, so not sure the latest news.

Like other posters here, I have NO IDEA who these people are. As the lawyer says: “reality stars are grasping for their 15 minutes of fame,” which can often yield years of shame and ridicule. I’ll take being a nobody any day to being the butt of media jokes for the bulk of my adult life. Fame – for most folks – does not rock. These guys are a sterling example. They are two morons that are in the middle of their "15 minutes of fame" and milking it for all they can. They're on some ridiculous "fake" reality show on MTV. It's sad when this is what many teenagers think are "cool". It's nauseating.

No wonder people wanna be on these so called reality shows, if you don't have much talent but look pretty for the camera and are willing to be a media whore a few can make millions. But as other comments stated -who are these people, I've never heard or seen of them.
