LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Anne Heche's five-year marriage to Coleman Laffoon is officially over, but not without a pinch to her pocketbook.

A judge ruled that Heche must pay $275,000 to her ex-husband, along with monthly child-support payments of $3,700 for the care of their 6-year-old son, Homer, according to court documents released Friday.

Heche will also have to pay 75 percent of Homer's private-school tuition. The couple agreed to split the cost of any "agreed upon extracurricular activities" for their son.

Heche, 39, and Laffoon, 34, were married Sept. 1, 2001. He filed for divorce on Feb. 2, citing irreconcilable differences.

Heche starred in TV's "Men in Trees." She and Laffoon, a cameraman, met while working on a documentary about Ellen DeGeneres _ with whom Heche was romantically linked for three years.

I thought Anne gave a great performance in the movie RETURN TO PARADISE and she was quite good in DONNIE BRASCO. I even went to see that bad movie she was in with Harrison Ford just to support an "out" bisexual woman in hollywood but she lost me as a fan a long time ago.

When she left Ellen for a man she alienated lots of her gay and lesbian fans. Maybe it's not her fault - she never said she was 100% lesbian. However she lost alot of us and is not getting us back as fans.

She followed that up with a strange autobiography and showing up at strangers houses talking nonsenst.

Now all I think of her is "wow that flake who is crazy" - I have 0 interest in her. This news is not suprising at all.

How can you support an 'out' bisexual by feeling alienated when she takes up with a man? Surely by definition a bisexual is someone who swaps partners along gender lines? Why do lesbians always seem to only support bisexuality when a woman takes up with a woman? But if she goes 'back' to a man suddenly she's a 'traitor to the cause'??

But you're right, she does seem wacky!

The studios were worried about having an "out" bi-sexual as the lead in their romantic comedy. I went to the movie to support her so Hollywood would see that the sexual orientation didn't matter to the fans.

That was the support I was referring to.

Why oh why would anyone stick their child with the name 'Homer'? Poor kid; trying to live down that name for the rest of his life. Hopefully he has a better middle name, like Walter or Claude or Milton or Cecil or Chester or Jasper...well the list is endless.

All this talk about karma and she's got what's coming to her.
Have you walked in her shoes?
Has she does something to you?

It must be nice to be perfect in all arenas of life and judge those as would an angry diety, as for me, I prefer to be merely human, focus on my own haunting imperfections, and learn from others with compassion.

I feel sorry for her. Not for the money, but for what her personal life must be like. Very sad.

Is part of this story missing? She's paying child support, so that means the child is living with his father full time? Well, that begs a couple of questions.

Jamie Lynn Spears take note! I understand her baby's father doesn't want to sign a prenup. DO NOT marry him without it kid or you will suffer far worse then your sister (who had a prenup yet because of the kids is still paying through the nose), or like this Heche woman.

Don't be stupid Lynn, your almost a mother now so to protect yourself and your kid. DO NOT marry your boyfriend without a prenup. If he says he'll leave, then let him go. There are plenty of men in this world who understand your financial situation and would sign a prenup to marry you. Good luck.

It looks like she is finally getting her due. Remember Anne what goes around comes around. You used Ellen to try to further your career as couldn't make it on talent alone.

This is what real gender equality is about. Balancing of equities without regard to gender.

Somebody, sometime, will probably have to pay for naming that defenseless child "Homer." I had an uncle Homer, and it was not without good reasons that he spent his whole life known as "Blink."

Fortunately, a talent like Heche won't be unemployed for long.

I agree....she is a terrific actress. It is way too bad that she sabotaged her own career with her erratic behavior. At any rate, she is always great to watch---even in mediocre stuff, and I hope she gets another series. "Men in Trees" was the only series I actually looked forward to watching, if and when I could find it. Well, there is "Monk"...that makes two, but that is about it.
