I'm so glad that Mitt didn't buy a house that would make anyone think that he was an Elitist .
I would personally volunteer to " welcome " him to the neighborho
with an big grin and a big stick
he's so rich it doesnt matter. he can afford to buy 10 of these homes and have them bulldozed
Here is a better lay of the land.

I hate him so much right now
That's an amazing photo. Thanks for sharing.
Good thing the white house is not for sale. Oh wait...!?
You know what this means? He is going to run for office in California. Everything he does has only one goal in mind - eventually being elected President. This is why he moved to Massachusetts then bought a summer home in NH and now California. Evendently he feels there is a better chance for his political future there.
That was exactly my first instinct as well. He will run for governor, I'll bet money and then another run for prez. Maybe go straight for prez. I doubt he will find much of a following here in cali though. I hope he won't.
And interesting that it's San Diego County usually one of the most conservative in Calif.
former Gov. Pete Wilson hails from there. And don't depend on the fire department too much
should the house catch fire, they could barely fight the fires they had there a few months back.
SD county has a history of trying to get gov't services (ie county fire protection etc.) and trying to get others to pay for it as well as scandals involving their public employee pension systems.
Frankly that doesn't look like much of a house for $12 million but I guess you are paying to be on the ocean. I can think of better real estate purchases than that for 12 mil.
No, he certainly does not. Consider this- I live in a modest 2 bedroom townhouse with a small computer room, and large attached living room/dining room. Small yard, and a garage. I paid 350k for it, not including HOA fees. 350 can get you a big house in many parts of the country.
Romney gave his campaign $44 million! How friggin much money does this guy have? sheesh!
he's worth near $200 million
the guy STARTED bain capital.
ridiculous
It's 'tract' not track, and I don't think that's a tract house.
However it does look vulnerable during those storms that California gets when there is an El Nino condition and the shorline around La Jolla is well know for being unstable, ie falling into the ocean.
Oh and Mitt if you EVER make the SLIGHTEST modification to that house REMEMBER that you will have to deal with the CALIFORNIA COASTAL COMMISSION.
