Supremacists

Hate Watch:

With the nomination of Barack Obama as the Democratic presidential candidate clinched, large sections of the white supremacist movement are adopting a surprising attitude: Electing America's first black president would be a very good thing.

It's not that the assortment of neo-Nazis, Klansmen, anti-Semites and others who make up this country's radical right have suddenly discovered that a man should be judged based on the content of his character, not his skin. On the contrary. A growing number of white supremacists, and even some of those who pass for intellectual leaders of their movement, think that a black man in the Oval Office would shock white America, possibly drive millions to their cause, and perhaps even set off a race war that, they hope, would ultimately end in Aryan victory.

The state of our economy is hurting us all. Even these racists are voting for Obama. Use any excuse that makes you feel better, just vote Obama.

Fear of a Black planet.... What a bunch of igorant dumasses...Africa is the birth place of humankind.
Black americans are the most forgiving people on earth, even when we are hated we still manage to find love for and forgiveness for our haters. If that were not true then 9/11 would have happened eons ago. This is what makes US a refection of the true meaning of forgiveness...In the end we know that we all came from the same mother. Hopefully the haters and nay sayers will swollow their fear disgusted as hate because we have been waiting a long time, centuries for them to come around.

It’s absolutely amazing that people’s brains actually think this way. It’s like studying an alien or a monkey in the wild - I am just awed at the moronic level of their rationale.

I would be rolling on the floor laughing if I weren’t a bit afraid they might hurt Obama when this backfires on them.

They are just too afraid to admit that the world is in a bad place and they know John McCain can't do anything for them. Racists whites are mainly just poor and if the economy is doing bad so are they. The know John McCain can't help them and instead of saying we are heading in the wrong direction they rather say they are voting for the black man to send a message to white people. Have they forgotten that Obama is white. He is white and black. He is a part of them too. Just ignorant. Don't be fooled. They are voting for them because of the same reason why everybody else is. They are broke, no jobs, and houses are falling in foreclosures. They are scared that John McCain will get in there and set off an atomic bomb against Iran and they won't have a country to claim theirs. They are thinking just like the rest of us but are too afraid to admit it. Tell them to stop twisting it and admit the truth.

What will the Republicans do if they can't count on racists to vote for them? At the same time they seem to be losing the religious fundamentalists?

It always amazed me when we lived in a small town in rural MN that people who seemed nice and reasonably alert in other ways (the bank president and his wife the card-playing gardener who lived down the block and were very kind to their pets --as far as we knew, to paraphrase Hillary Clinton). Yet, they kept putting up those lawn signs for Bush and Cheney well beyond the time when anybody with eyes and ears ought to have been able to tell what those crooks were up to.... faking up reasons to invade a country that did nothing to us, murdering hundreds of thousands of women and children to fill the coffers of war profiteers and oil companies.

I could understand the crackpot lady whose kids' bad adjustments and worse behavior were a constant problem for school personnel, but still managed to throw all of HER energy into writing letters to the local paper warning Democrats that they were going to end up in the fiery furnace (while she would be transported via spaceship into heaven) IF we continued to support Democrats). She was just plain NUTS...but the seemingly sane people who put up those signs.....WHY?

The supremacists are remnants of a tribal group of people that will gradually wither away. As a synthetic derivative of the human race, their existence cannot be justified within the logic of progressive development of our society.

Obama didn't make our present condition what it is today. Rather than look objectively to the future for solutions, they are betting on failure. Kind of like life insurance; early death greater return.

It would be ironic if Obama actually become president and turn things around for everyone.

Isn't that what we all want; a solution.

Even Obama knows, in order to represent all people, he most be a representative for them as well.

I don't think racists really want a solution. They are hooked on their own hatreds and the adrenaline that comes with hating ...it is like a drug to them. The really awful part is that they (whose votes count one, same as those of decent people) are open to exploitation by evil politicians---I used to think just by Republicans, but the HC campaign changed my mind about THAT.

There are a lot of people who think like this, but don't want to admit it. Some think that if Obama's elected he really will make life harder than it already is for non blacks which of course is stupid. But I actually know people who won't vote for Obama - not because he's black, but because they think he's racist and will favor blacks over whites and Mexicans. Stupid, I know, but I've heard this from my boyfriend and the Mexican guys he works with.

It's what the Clintons are betting on. Their hope is that if McCain wins the general then Hillary will be able to run in 2012 and be pretty much uncontested by a democratic canidate because she and Bill and their supporters will go around saying see you should have nominated Hillary since she could get the white vote.
The Clintons also are starting to get their supporters to marginalize Obama and if he wins they will undermine Obama and run against him in 2012 as the experienced fixers who will clean up the mess after Obama.

In four years, Hillary support base--already the oldest of any player in the democratic party--will be four years closer to dead. Obama's base(s) will be moving into their peak voting years.

"Obama will let the American people know that there is a real cancer eating away at the heart of our country and Republican aspirin will not only not cure it, but only masks the pain and makes you think you don’t need radical surgery"--

What is it with Republicans and pain killers? Sounds like the Nazis are building up a tolerance.

They are underestimating America. I am proud to say that.

There are pockets of racists like this, even whole states, but they are in the minority and they are being left behind.

They are the old way, slouching toward oblivion.

Thsad interesting thing is that these are the same people who work with black people and harass and discriminate then lie about it, have companies that won't hire blacks, black neighbors...but yet blacks keep hearing how paranoid they are and that their is no racism.

Actually, the KKK has released an on official statement about this on their website, that they are not endorsing Obama:

"Despite some rumors, the Ku Klux Klan is not endorsing Barack Obama for President. In fact, Thomas Robb, national director of The Knights Party says his organization has serious questions it would like Barack to answer."

You can't make these things up.
