Buffett Serves Obama $28,500 Plate Fundraising Dinner

WASHINGTON--Superinvestor Warren Buffett, the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway--who with his daughter Susan early on spotted presumptive Democratic nominee Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) as a comer-- will headline a $28,500-per-person fund-raiser (to raise or give) July 2 at the Chicago home of Obama finance chair Penny Pritzker. Sharing host duties will be Obama senior advisor Valerie Jarrett.

This tribute is for the guarantees of continued freedom to ravage and pillage the remains of our economically denuded Country. Obama would not be impressed but appalled by Mr Buffett if he were to ask how Mr. Buffett raised his initial millions, compliments of the taxpayers, to gain the leverage to become the arch-capitalist of America,
All that big money lavished on newcomer Obama has a poisonous influence upon the leadership competence of weak or opportunistic men. Let's pray that Obama does not sell out the American people for the promise of money and position.
It is not a promising performance that a man who campaigns to be of, by and for the people jumps into the nest with the very miscreants who have brought a once mighty nation to its knees. The question may arise what did he promise behind closed doors that compromises a new direction in American political and economic policy.

Dude Buffett is opposeds to so called "pillaging and ravaging." He is for the estate tax, railed against Wall Street before it was popular, is open with his company, and not to mention criticizes trade policies and fiscal discipline of the Repugs. He's charitable to boot. Not every billionaire is a Kenneth Lay. Some are actually decent people who have made great contributions to society. I'm a Democrat and think Buffet and his honest gotten wealth is what makes this country great.

Billionaire Warren Buffett has been slamming the Bush tax cuts since 2003 - maybe even earlier. 85% of his wealth - between 30 and 37 billion has been pledged to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
