Thursday's "Morning Joe" featured a segment with Richard Belzer, where he both remembered George Carlin and promoted a pet adoption project he is working on. Towards the end of the segment, the dog, who was being cradled by Mika Brzezinski throughout the segment, vomited on her, causing mayhem on set and prompting Joe Scarborough to offer the dog a steak for making his day.

Watch (vomit comes about 7 minutes in):

Only two degrees of separation between himself and the Carter administration could make anyone sick.

The most offensive part of this post is the use of the word "adoption" in connection with dogs. children are adopted, dogs are not. I'm all for animal rights, but the dog loving in this country is reaching levels of crazy.

Joe Scarboro and that one creepy guy who does the "New you can't use" has the exact same effect on me! I like Mika though.

I would rather vomit on Joe. And he has a more pronounced effect on my gag reflex.

The best thing to do when a dog pukes on your lap on live TV is IGNORE IT until the commercial.

Otherwise you look like an idiot making a big deal about a little puke.

It's not like a St. Bernard hurled it's guts out on her face.

maybe they could do a remote broadcast at the zoo.... right beside the rhino hut. Rhino runs outside to take a wizz and a fire-hydrant size blast knocks Joe's toupee off his colossal head. Then Joe attempts to make it to a commercial break as not to draw anybody's attention.

I didn't see the show, but just saw the article, and my immediate reaction was "Hallelujah, thank you Jesus!" That dog deserves a medal!!

She was really sweet with that dog.............she should have let some of the show when she talked about Hillary. Well, I guess she was just supporting the family, her father is an advisor on foreign affairs for Obama... Oh for the days of objective commentators.
