Harry Reid: "Coal Makes Us Sick, Oil Makes Us Sick"

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, on a recent appearance on Fox Business, said that as fuel costs rise, the most major costs are the hidden ones. He states "Coal makes us sick, oil makes us sick, it's ruining our country, it's ruining our world." He also shows support of solar power. A video clip of this appearance is gaining popularity on YouTube.

I'm always amazed at how people who fret about their carbon footprints go ahead and procreate. the two are intricately linked, and to the extent that leaders don't get us to connect the two, all the other lifestyles changes you can implement are fiddling at the margins whilst Rome burns

Well, given that it is Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid speaking, I suppose that at some point I'll get to see compromise legislation that limits tax credits for energy exploration and nearshore drilling to just this planet, keeping the other planets in the solar system safely unpolluted.
