Baldwin

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 7/9/08 Updated: 5/25/11

"What is freaky to me is the media and Hollywood is so convinced that Middle America and mainstream America cares what it thinks," the actor tells Laura Ingraham, after saying that he will leave the country if Obama wins. He went on to criticize Obama's "change" platform and reaffirm his support for John McCain.

I love how conservatives whine about Hollywood getting involved in politics. But in the rare case where one actor swings their way, they are all too happy to parade them around. This story is so useless, but so amusing at the same time.

Hmmm...does anyone here understand he was making fun of his brother who said he'd leave the US if Bush won?

Whatever...lets just make fun of him and make ourselves feel better!

I'm with you, RedEyes. These comment sections really don't bring much value to the articles. This site is just crawling with some SERIOUSLY UNINFORMED people. And, to top it off, they're MEAN AND SIMPLISTIC. All they seem able to do is hurl insults and four-letter words. I feel like I'm trying to hang out with kids on a middle school playground, and all I see are their political equivalents: a bunch of sheep following the DNC's talking points in lockstep -- nothing more, and unquestioningly.

Wow! meaningful input. And the intricacies of right-leaning blogs fare far better I'm sure. There are uninformed hacks on every site, it just so happens that in this one, we automatically assume that 'born again' conservatives like Baldwin have nothing valuable to say, particularly when speaking with right-wing conservative radio shock-jocks like Laura Ingram (who replaced the 'terrorist fist jab' perpetrator-and is far crazier).

You also might have noticed that we prefer quippy and quirky to cranky and crotchety. And just to solidify that point for you, I rewrote your comment to be a bit more, well, quippy.

Thats right browneye (yes, thats a butt reference), these hacks don't know facts from frankincense, they really stink up the place. And to make things worse, they swarm like bees every time someone pokes the hive, attacking aimlessly and randomly, stomping out reason like a rampaging heard of buffalo with learning disabilities. All they have is talking points, sticking their fingers down their collective throats and regurgitating them every time someone tries to inject truth into the conversation.

Try that next time, at least you can call the kettle black with a little style. Oh, and spare us the adverbs dude, they are "seriously" unnecessary.

yes, it does make me feel better. The idea of him leaving is great... he can hang out with all the ultra liberal and libertarian expats before crawling back home begging for mercy.

What is it with people like him and Limbaugh? This guy is a dope fiend too right? His last job was on some reality celebrity show and no one knew who he was, straight or stoned.

i'M SURPRISED he's a right winger when his whole family are Dems, and didn't he play a bisexual in a movie once.. if he's so right-winged why did he play that role.... money eh? LOL see you stevie.. but everyone in other countries want Obama too! Where will he go?
