Fox News Photoshops Pictures Of New York Times Reporters In Response To Weekend "Hit Piece"

On the July 2 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends, co-hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade labeled New York Times reporter Jacques Steinberg and editor Steven Reddicliffe "attack dogs," claiming that Steinberg's June 28 article on the "ominous trend" in Fox News' ratings was a "hit piece." During the segment, however, Fox News featured photos of Steinberg and Reddicliffe that appeared to have been digitally altered -- the journalists' teeth had been yellowed, their facial features exaggerated, and portions of Reddicliffe's hair moved further back on his head. Fox News gave no indication that the photos had been altered.

After putting up the photos of Steinberg and Reddicliffe, Fox & Friends also featured a photograph of Steinberg's face superimposed over that of a poodle, while Reddicliffe's face was superimposed over that of the man holding the poodle's leash.

fox news is as evil a propaganda as anything ever seen out of Nazi Germany and in many ways because of technology it surpasses it.

Make no mistake that its influence is just as damaging to a society that believes it is governed by a constitution and individual freedoms when in reality it seeks and needs to expand a fascist mindset to succeed.

The fact that it does is revealing of the people and the rest of the media that sits idly by allowing it to prosper.

This network is the single greatest threat to the idea of democracy this country faces.

If the government decided to use the military and blackwater thugs to stamp out the rights of the American people, Fox news would be leading the charge with 24 hour support.

OMG! I was telling my husband what a doofus Steve Doocy and also that Brian whats his face are... And low and behold, this is the story we flipped to. Then as soon as we saw the pictures, we just stared in amazement. I couldn't believe FOX was that childish. I told my husband they must have done something to those photos... He just said, "Turn these a**holes off please, I'm trying to enjoy my coffee."

Seems fair and balanced to me. If, on the other hand they had given them canine teeth, wet noses and a tail, it might help their viewers with this ' attack dog' angle of the story. Just saying...
