White Apricot :

Summertime means keeping up with regular pedicures and parading your feet in great sandals. Whether you love flats or heels, casual or dressy, colors or earth tones, we've picked our top 10 favorite sexy summer sandal styles with something for every taste.

An educational note: There is a difference between an eco friendly shoe and a vegan shoe. Vegan means that absolutely no animal products are used, but the materials are not necessarily sustainable. Call it socially responsible. Eco friendly means the materials used are either recycled, vegetable tanned leathers (as opposed to chemically tanned) or other sustainable textiles.

Now if only they could make some that were foot-friendly, instead of these high-heeled and/or no-arch-support podiatric nightmares!

$400 is cheap compared with bunion surgery!

Riiight, $100 to nearly $400 for ugly sandals. Give me the sandals pictured on the main page with the succulent toes in them and forget about the ooglies.

So who are these women that can afford these sandals? $300 for a pair of shoes??? I guess they must be marketing only to the self-absorbed Carrie Bradshaws of the world. I'd like to see something that normal women can afford. But thanks for this gem of an article, HuffPo.

For the eco-friendly, vegan and RICH crowd. Get a load of the prices on these sandals.

Unless this trend opens up markets for the average gal making, say $20.00 per hour in an office somewhere or a teacher, or students, the impact these sandals will have on saving the environment will be like one drop in the ocean.

No wonder the right wing sometimes looks at the Left/Enviromentalists as elitists. Stories like this just fuel that fire. This article is almost embarrassing.....
