Hillary Rodham Clinton folded her campaign's tent last month, shedding spokespeople, fundraisers, lawyers, and advance men and women by the dozen.

But two senior aides remain: Katie Dowd, who runs Clinton's website and e-mail list, and Peter Daou, her campaign liaison to the blogosphere.

The survival of Clinton's online operation highlights her induction into a small but growing new club of presidential losers who have used the Internet to maintain some of their national profile and power.

I don't know, I delete without reading about 99% of the unsolicited political emails I receive. I don't deny the "power of the internet," but I do question the "power of the email list."

Clinton's supporters should be (but apparently are not) organizing actions at the DNC headquarters in Washington to demand that the nomination declaration on June 3rd be rescinded, since superdelegates should not have been allowed to vote early. (Those are THE RULES, and if voting early is no big deal, why were Florida and Michigan punished?) This is the only argument the Clinton team has left, and for them to be worrying about her a debt (which she probably doesn't give a damn about) underscores the problem with her campaign. They and she appear to working along different tracks entirely. Why can't we have the person who gave all those great talks on the campaign trail running the show? Is that too much to ask, Katie and Peter? Why can't the woman speak for herself anymore? Nearly everyone knows by now that the investment banks and oil companies have been colluding with the Bush team on the Dem primaries from the beginning. And the Saudis are buying up the banks so it really doesn't look good for our gender in the years ahead. http://www.thecityedition.com/Pages/Archive/Summer08/BushThirdTerm.html

It's an insult to everyone who invested blood, sweat and saliva into the election that this nominee declaration on June 3rd and Clinton's withdrawal from the race have been allowed to stand. Why should anybody ever work on any campaign again, or believe anything a candidate says, if this is all we have to look forward to?

A coup d"etat has been committed by the Dem. Party leadership, and unfortunately Clinton's own advocacy engine the Denver Group accepts that action as a fait accomplis. No speech by Hillary Clinton at the convention or roll call vote of delegates illegally chosen or working as moles for Karl Rove will undo the crime. Democracy no longer exists (at the moment) and challenging that problem should be the focus of any pro-Clinton organization. Her supporters should be organizing actions right now at the DNC headquarters in Washington to demand that the nomination declaration on June 3rd be rescinded, since superdelegates should not have been allowed to vote early. (Those are THE RULES, and if voting early is no big deal, why were Florida and Michigan punished?) One only need look at the role of the investment banks and oil companies in financing the campaigns to see that the fix was in a long time ago. http://www.thecityedition.com/Pages/Archive/Summer08/BushThirdTerm.html

It's an insult to everyone who invested blood, sweat and saliva into the campaign that this nominee declaration on June 3rd and Clinton's withdrawal from the race have been allowed to stand for 4 weeks now. Why should anybody ever work on any campaign again, or believe anything a candidate says, if this is all we have to look forward to?

DNC and Obama would not relish the reaction of Clinton supporters who suddenly start receiving emails from them. PUMA.
