Top Clinton Adviser Howard Wolfson Joining Fox News

Howard Wolfson, one of the members of Hillary Rodham Clinton's innermost circle and perhaps the most visible member of the New York senator's television surrogates, is joining Fox News Channel as a Democratic analyst.

Wolfson confirmed the move this evening via email. In addition to his part time commentary duties on FNC, Wolfson will remain a partner at the Glover Park Group -- a major consulting firm in Washington, D.C.

"Fox has the largest audience in cable television -- many of its viewers are independents who will help decide the next election," said Wolfson of his decision. "It's critically important for strong progressives to be talking to and offering analysis to that audience."

It makes me retch seeing all these people run to fox news... and hearing their excuse that "thats what the Independent voters watch." Well, they're full of crap - Independent voters watch CNN and MSNBC.

The only thing that comes to mind when I think of him, are those bad motivational posters. You know the ones. The ones that say FAIL in bold letters. Kind of like this one.

Some people commenting are worried that Wolfson is there to help Fox attack B-Rock. Don't be scurred people. If Wolfson couldn't beat Obama with every dirty and disgusting tactic there was be thrown, he won't worth anything now.

Howard Wolfson is just creepy. It is somewhat puzzling that he is even a democrat since he has adopted so many habits and tactics of sleazy republican pundits. I guess it would be entertaining to watch...but there is no way I would ever watch Fox News Channel, so I guess I will catch it on youtube.

For those Letterman fans out there...do you guys remember Chris Elliott? Then he went on to play the creepy snow plow driver in the kids movie "Snow Day"..THATS who Howard Wolfson reminds me of.

Isn't it odd that Senator Clinton's most visible and outspoken former surrogates are now joining FOX NEWS? Could it be that this relationship developed during the primary when Fox News became the cable network's most vicious attack machine against Senator Obama? Could it be that there really was an alliance between Senator Clinton's campaign and Fox News that many of us suspected?

These surrogates, Davis and Wolfson, did not serve Senator Clinton well during the primary, but maybe that's why they are now with Fox. They have found their niche.

This just gives real liberals ( a.k.a. Obama supporters) even more reasons to hate Fox News. In that sense it's a good thing, because hate is such a liberating emotion. It's also one more thing to throw at Clinton in case she stirs and attempts to take a breath. The logic here is that if Fox hires well-known Dem progressives to expand their audience, Fox is still evil and the people hired are just proving that they were never really liberals. The best part is that Howard Wolfson and Lanny Davis must be conceding that Clinton is truly out of the race, which should make it a win-win situation for Obamites. Unless of course Wolfson and Davis say bad things about Barack to the largest cable news audience, which would be win-lose. Now that I think about it, this may be one more nefarious Clinton plot. But what if they say good thinks about Barack - would this prove that Clinton is truly on board? It's just so confusing.

Or maybe they're just looking for a bigger paycheck like everyone else.
