White Apricot:

Let's face it, the terms eco friendly and swimwear make strange bedfellows. Traditionally, the materials used to maintain your favorite bikini's shape and style (namely Lycra, spandex etc.) are not sustainable, making it hard for a green gal to stick to her guns when the temperatures start to soar. Many designers with a conscience have found clever ways to circumvent that problem with repurposed and recycled materials that make it easier than ever to ride the eco friendly fashion wave. Hit the beach in one of these fashionable and functional bikini, one-piece or monokini styles and we guarantee the temperature won't be the only thing sizzling this summer!

The greenest bathing suit is no bathing suit. There is no logical reason to wear attire while bathing except when presented with prolonged cold water or poisonous jellyfish and I don't believe that any of the attire discussed herein would be suitable for said.

I thought eco-friendly meant it had to disintegrate rapidly in water? Shouldn't men have to (see how long they can) wear them as well?
