Michael Jackson To Make Comeback With New Kids On The Block?

Michael Jackson is set to make a comeback with golden oldie boyband New Kids On The Block.

The King of Pop had secret talks about the link-up with the band's stars at his home in Nevada last week.

New Kids singer Donny Wahlberg, 38, said: "It's very exciting. It's one big party and everyone wants to join us." The pop veterans announced the plan as they celebrated the launch of their first reunion tour in 20 years which starts in September.

....The Bad singer was due to release his much anticipated album this year to coincide with his 50th birthday.

Can Michael make a come back? I don't think so. Not because he doesn't have talent, but because he is psychologically disjointed from the new world he finds himself in. He is incapable of accepting the fact that ever since he could remember until his late thirties he's been a larger than life icon, the apple of the eye of a surreal fan base. Now he is this enigma, a pin doll of ratings driven media that couldn't get enough of him when he was on his way up and now can't get enough of watching his train wrecked life as his star fades on his way down. He was born in the spotlight, and even if it takes making as caricature of himself he will surely die in it.

Michael's biggest missed opportunity to step off of center stage with some kind of dignity was when every hot new star on the planet paid tribute to him during a 30th anniversary special (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PGC1MHxZ8Y&feature=related). With a best selling album of all time, instead of humbly accepting his spot in history, his addiction to the only life he's ever known makes him that glory days pitcher errors so much before someone work up the nerve to walk to the mound and asks for the ball.

Unfortunately, Michael has an unidentified mental condition. By that I mean, not diagnosed by a real doctor. It's a shame because he really was the master of dance. Cool beyond words but then his mental condition got much worse and the fame went to his head. Watch the videos from the early eighties on youtube. He really was good looking and amazing to watch. He performed with a rare fire and inspiration. It could be that his mental condition is a complication of Lupus. It's a very complex auto-immune disease that can cause psychosis. Auto-immune diseases occur in clusters usually so it's rare to have only one disease like Vitiligo.

Anyway, something went terribly wrong in his head and it really is sad. I don't think he can control it and being famous makes it that much harder to treat.
