That proves it. There is nothing you can do to get fired at CNN.

I wish this man no ill will and a successful recovery. That said, he has a voice made for the telegraph.

Anderson Cooper was the first to greet Richard Quest back with a hug and a reach around.

Good Luck Richard. We all fall down, but we must get back up again. Best Wishes

When he fell down it was because he stepped on his rope. Ouch.

yeah, where's corporate news' coverage of this guy? I guess so long as he buys his CIA crack and doesn't try to regulate wall street he's safe to continue S&M in the park.....

preorgasm man can get pretty crazy.
post orgasm man thinks rationally like: what the f*ck was that all about?!

no one would ever want "preorgasm man" to be stamped into history.
he is a crazy sort, who wants what he wants.
when the little head becomes the big head and head is of the essence,
one tends to think irrationally.

sex is a crazy horse, and those condemned for riding it
are like birds convicted of flying.

not sure what i'm trying to say here but this:
cut the fellow some slack.
in your darkest moments - how you would hate them to be international headlines.

good night, and go f*ck.

I'm glad he's back. He is definitely a unique reporter and always made me smile. I'm sure there are many of us here who have taken a fall sometime in life and returned. I'll look forward to seeing him on the telly.

A pat on the back for having sought help, and best wishes to a continued sober life.

A fact of life is that recidivism tends to be very high. Some studies have said that only 5% are able to permanently kick the drug habit.

To anyone reading this who is contemplating experimenting with drugs - please don't. Addictable drugs really do destroy lives, and an addiction can become overwhelming with surprisingly few tries.

Good for him. Rehab is a way out of a bear trap wrapped around the addicts' mind and body that just keeps getting tighter. Too bad it still has a stigma (mainly in fundamentalist circles).

Well, good for him.

Drug addiction is not the end of life or a career if it is faced honestly, nay, ruthlessly, and defeated.

Well, it's not his fault, it was the crank...it can make you do some pretty weird things. I remember this speed freak J. who would geeze up a huge hit of meth and stay in the bathroom all night. He would only come out if someone had to use it. But in the morning, that room was immaculate.
