"I'm free!" Christie told me in an exclusive interview, a few hours after the supermodel settled the divorce case with that unspeakable bastard, Peter Cook. I mean ex-husband.

"I've got my sweet freedom!" Christie exulted, as she collapsed into her Hamptons estate after a week in hell. "And I don't mean that boat!"

Imagine being a beautiful, ex-super model and a multi-millionaire. Now, imagine how hard it would be to find someone who loved you for YOU and not for all of your wealth and/or the "trophy" you represented.
I don't know Brinkley and for all I know, she might be hell on a marriage but, I don't think anyone can fault her for four failed marriages given her unique situation. That said, she probably shouldn't marry again - at least not for a long, long time.
