A group of Toronto Blue Jays fans came up with a novel way of trying to get to Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez: holding up photos of Madonna. Rodriguez's wife recently filed for divorce from the ball player, and the third baseman has been linked to the pop icon.

See the photos of Madonna at the Blue Jays ballpark below:

Oh, come, come, come my dear Yankee fans! You all know it's not about who wins or loses. We just love to hate your friggen guts!!! Ha! Ha! Ha!

That's what it's become in this country. It's not whether you win or lose but who you're bangin.

It was great before the All-Star Game tonight watching the revision of history as everybody said all those nice things about Steinbrenner. Where was Pete Rose?

It's really not about whether you win or lose. How many Supreme Court Justices have you got in your pocket?

Wow! Some of the responses on here make me laugh out loud! Some Yankee fans seem to take it all so seriously. That's way more amusing that what these guys did.

Oh, nevermind. Yankees 9, Blue Jays 4. Yes, the Blue Jays fans' psychological warfare really worked against A-Rod. Good job guys! I took this little tidbit from the first article that came up from the Google search that I did on who won the game:

"Alex Rodriguez moved into 13th place on the all-time home run list, passing Mickey Mantle with the 537th of his major-league career, and he, Jeter and rookie Brett Gardner each drove in three runs for the Yankees, who had scored just four runs during their previous three games."

So, bravo, that worked out well for you Blue Jays fans. I'm no baseball fan, but it seems to me like this ploy really worked against you, plus what you did was quite tasteless. Good luck with your plan though. Maybe, by the time you're done with A-Rod, he will have brokent the all-time home run list. Just sayin'.

He should pull a Ron Artest and go knock that guy out. I'd give him a pass for sure. Sports fans love to talk about athletes behavior, not even one tenth as bad as the fans.

Remember when A-Rod went from Mariners to the Rangers and got pelted with fake dollar bills? (I do I live in Seattle) The man is just so tauntable.

The best fan ridicule was when Dookies threw empty pizza boxes at the Carolina player that had been charged with robbing a pizza delivery man. Classic.

Try having fun sometime. You can drop the pretense and enjoy a ballgame now and then, buddy. It won't affect your status in 'high society' to dreg down here with us stupid, uncouth working men.

During the 1978 World Series, Steve Garvey came to bat for the Dodgers at Yankee Stadium. The organist immediately began playing, "What I Did For Love," a Marvin Hamlisch tune from "Chorus Line," the big hit on Broadway.

The point was, Garvey and his wife Cyndi had just separated. Cyndi, who was a celebrity in her own right, was dating Hamlisch, and the gossip columnists in New York played it up big.. So Steinbrenner thought it was funny to ridicule Garvey and his wife by playing a Hamlisch tune when Garvey came up to bat, even though the Garvey children were watching the game at home on T.V.

Moral of the story...don't feel sorry for any Yankee. Whatever class the Yankees once represented went out the window when Steinbrenner bought the team.

Let's not forget having Bucky Dent throw out the first pitch during a Yankee home game at the '04 ALCS.
