Real-life "Gossip Girl" couple Blake Lively and Penn Badgley attended Tuesday night's All-Star game at Yankee Stadium, the one that went to almost 2 am.

The pair were nice, posed with fans for photos when approached, and did NOT spend the game on phones as one may expect. They also stayed fairly late, although they didn't make it to the bitter end of the 15-inning game.

Also spotted were Paul Rudd on the subway to the game, Spike Lee and Lorne Michaels, who was seen leaving after Blake and Penn but before the finish.

You heard it here first--Blake Lively, if she makes the right career choices, could be the next great female superstar. I'm talking Julia Roberts level. She's got "it," whatever that it quality is. I's not just beauty, not just talent. Charisma maybe?

And then there are the legs...

And all the haters here need to chill. Nothing more tedious than pretentious people who are too "sophisticated" to have a little fun with pop culture.

Also, teeny-bop celeb or no, that is one fine man.

Christ you people are ridiculous. Every single day for the three years of its existence, the HuffPo entertainment section has been flooded by person after person who has taken time out of their day to comment about how much they totally don't care about the people in question. I know when I see a picture of some celebs I don't know, my first instinct is certainly NOT to go comment about it, especially since it's 100 percent guaranteed that countless other commenters have beat you to it.

While it's perfectly fine that you don't really care about these celebs, it's also perfectly fine that no one else cares that you don't care.

Veronica, the HuffPost's Entertainment section only expanded fairly recently. While it is a nice diversion from All Politics All The Time, there is so much more they could do with it. "Entertainment" is not all about celebrity gossip, which now comprises the majority of items here. Those of us who don't read People, the Enquirer, Us, etc., or watch such shows as Gossip Girl, have no idea who these people are. We, or at least I, comment at random about "who are these people" as a kind of mini-protest to HuffPost. I wish they would not waste their bandwidth on such inane nonsense as "who is pregnant", "who had a mole removed at such a late stage in her career", "what celeb couples have broken up", etc.

The Huffington Post is not TMZ or Perez Hilton and should strive for a higher standard. However, feel free to say "you people are ridiculous" or as histryteacher calls us "cretins". Oh, ouch.

Congratulations on completely missing my point.

And HuffPo has always had an entertainment section, even if it has more recently expanded. I would know, I've been here since the start. Not sure what that has to do with anything.

This is not about the quality of the stories in HP's entertainment section, this is about the phenomenon of pretentious people commenting on these "stupid" stories they supposedly care nothing about. If people agree with you that it is too trivial and dumb, why do they comment again and again, redundantly stressing how little they supposedly care? What is the point?

It IS ridiculous. You can write HuffPo's administrators to complain about the quality of the stories, but to spend time commenting on the stories you think are worthless is just asinine in itself, as asine as the stories themselves.

Get it now?

Right on! I don't even watch Gossip Girl, but I don't begrudge HuffPo for acknowledging that many people do care. And it seems some commenters here begrudge these people even existing or having their existence documented.

You don't care, you don't look, it's as simple as that, people!

We're interested in how these two spend their time off because....? During the day one's busy curing cancer and the other's curing HIV/AIDS? Seriously? WTF?!? Can we maybe start paying attention to people whose work actually f*cking matters, instead fame whores and and their pimps?

Yes, these photos are exclusive to Huffington Post. And to the commenters above and below who don't know who Blake and Penn are, may I suggest Google.

Patrick, why would we be interested enough to do that? We are here to comment about the entities who populate the HuffPost Entertainment page. There is so much more to entertainment than Enquirer-style celeb gossip.

I missed opportunity.
