"I read The New York Times every day. Have you read some of the ugly things they say about me?" the Bush strategist turned Fox News analyst asks Forbes. "I'm like Grendel in Beowulf. People talk about me ... and there's nothing I can do about it."

As The Hill points out, Grendel "terrorized a Danish mead hall before being slain by Beowulf, the poem's hero."

Hopefully, their stories will end in a similar manner.

Well, you can't deny the resemblance...

No Karl Rove looks more like Emporer Palpatine. He's definitely got the Sith lord look going. But then again most right wing conservatives do...

I thought LIEberman was Senator Palpatine. I'm so confused!

Rove is the Cookie Monster!

Actually, they're both just caricatures of themselves. Both of them sad pathetic sociopaths with power to sway men's minds with the drivel they ooze out of their mouths.

Pathetic
Powerful
Dangerous

And hated.

Well, gee ... Karl "nothing I can do about it" Rove ... nice new sound bite, eh?

Poor Karl, so misunderstood... But, really, he's being too kind to himself.

Next they'll be telling us Newt Gingrich is just a poor misunderstood boy.

Actually, I'd rather sit down and have a beer with Grendel.

Does that mean Karl is an illegitimate son the king sired by sleeping with a dragon?

Son of a dragon...that's mythic & exotic. I thought he was just a run-the-mill sob.

I think of him more as Son of Sam's dog.

Rove is a psychologically sick guy. How can someone, who looks like a cross between a Snowwhite and Vinny-the-Pooh, serve to pure evil without any shame? Does he ever think about children killed or orphaned due to the policies he so creatively conspired to implement?

Shame is a foreign word to these folks. A feeling of shame implies that you've done something wrong, that you've injured another, that you've stolen or lied or cheated, and you feel bad about it.

It shouldn't surprise us anymore that they are nothing like the rest of us. They are truly not good people. They think they've done nothing wrong. In fact, they're proud of their "accomplishments." They laugh at our injuries, and the injuries to the United States, to our Constitution, and to our future. They are *proud* of their lies, and they consider us weak because we can't catch them or punish them for those lies. And we are in a sense weak because it's taken us a while to catch up to their deceit and what they've really done to us.

They are not good people. Good people would hang their heads in shame. You're right. They have no shame. Because they are not like us. We are getting smarter. We are getting stronger. Whether we can get stronger than their lies? Time will tell.

Bullsh**. The man loves his reputation, he is proud of himself, he has an ego the size of two football fields.
Good Lord he goes around giving speeches on how to do it.
