Tuesday, President Bush addressed the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac crisis and the economy at large. In remarks to reporters, Bush endorsed the efforts of Fed chairman Ben Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson to curb an economic crisis set to rival Armageddon (the movie, considering an asteroid nearly destroying the Earth couldn't possibly have been good for the market).
