Ethan Hawke and wife Ryan Shawhughes are the new parents of a baby girl.

"Clementine Jane Hawke was born on Friday ... in New York City," Hawke's publicist Mara Buxbaum told The Associated Press in an e-mail Wednesday.

The couple were married last month in New York. Hawke, 37, has two children from his marriage to Uma Thurman.

His screen credits include "Training Day," "Dead Poets Society," "Great Expectations" and "Before Sunset."

The actor and his wife Ryan Shawhughes welcomed Clementine Jane Hawke last Friday in New York City, his rep tells Usmagazine.com exclusively.

Hawke, 37, and Shawhughes quietly tied the knot in New York City in June.

In January, Hawke's rep confirmed that he and Shawhughes were expecting their first child together.

"They're thrilled!" the rep said.

You know that the only nanny that Ryan will allow in the home will be one of those 45-55 year old nannies like the ones on the reality TV shows.

I bet you this will not last. One will cheat on the other. He will probably hook up with THEIR nanny. It's hard to believe he left Uma for that.

Paul never stepped out on Joanna in 45yrs of marriage after leaving his wife fof 15yrs for her. Newman said:

"I don't like to discuss my marriage, but I will tell you something which may sound corny but which happens to be true. I have steak at home. Why should I go out for hamburger?"

Now I'm not one bit advocating marriages breaking up, but this idea that someone just comes in and there were no problems until that person showed up is just as ridiculous as the assumption that people are destined to repeat an action. Yeah, never say never about anything, but the idea that it's a far gone conclusion is just silly. By the way, you are aware that Uma has a track record of being the other woman on more than one occassion right? Look it up because I think you might find that all the hell heaped on Ethan's head should be measured out more equally with a nice portion going to his ex.
