John McCain has been complaining lately that he gets no love from the press. Media Matters begs to differ -- and they have a new ad to make the case.

Watch members of the press fawn over the maverick:

The press are a group of lazy white males who have not had to work very hard for a living. So now with this election they may be required to actually fact check what they write and report. Do they know how?

john and his hieress wife have been courting the press at private parties with many jet-setting millionaires for years. He is such a great guy! They are even personal friends' No Duh. The press does NOT elect the Pres, though they try.

Is there any reason why it takes over 12 hours to have comments posted, or comments not post at all?

Media NOT hard on Obama??? I tuned into David Gregory's show today & I understand WHY he might get booted! He did not need a panel today as he could have just lectured for the entire hour about everything that has been, is and might possibly be wrong with Obama! It was unbelievable! He is most definitely not cut out to mediate a panel - he has such a closed mind.
He reminds me a lot of Campbell Brown on CNN - if there's any good news whatsoever to report about Obama, his disappointment shows all over his face. I'm definitely tuning out of his program until he's gone. Rachel must go nuts on his show. Anyway, I think he should give equal time tomorrow to his very short list of what is wrong with John McCain.

Did you watched that mess as a stated below his show and Joe Scar wouldn't exist without Senator O.

I lost so much respect for David Gregory. I really had high hopes for him. He show started off good for the first few weeks and has gone down hill ever since.

I happen to watch a few minutes of it and eventually changed the channel.

Yeah, David Gregory is horrible. He couldn't be objective if his life depended on it. Look at the fundraiser sound byte they played. On Hardball Mike Barnacle talked about it and after playing it asked "Chuck, is he right? Is he in a good position?" That was an objective fair question to start debate. What did David say? His normal... "Does he want that back? It was a bit arrogant." (or something very similar) and he always tosses that to the conservative he knows is going to take a swing on the softball.

Every question he asks is worded and loaded to be critical instead of objective. Even when he was pushing a viewpoint the one night and EVERYONE was telling him he was wrong, he wouldn't stop. EVERYONE, even the conservatives, were telling him he was wrong, but he wouldn't drop it. He even brought it up AGAIN the next night.

They need to boot his ass and give the show to Mike Barnacle, or even Michael Smerconish. And they need to give Rachel her own show at 7pm during the Hardball replay... I saw it at 5pm, I don't want to see it at 7pm, and I'm not going to turn on Fox or Lou Dobbs on CNN.

I've seen Andrea Mitchell mess over Obama with the rest of them, but apparently she does know the truth when she sees it for herself:

Lets be honest Morning Joe and Race to the White would not have a show with out Senator O.

90% of their Coverage is of Senator O and 10 of the Old Cain

The media love wars and the warmongers who start and/or perpetuate them.

They should do an ad that is the media's favorite term: We're his base..........have every single reporter who ever said that repeat over and over.

Phil Gramn had it wrong.....it's not the nation that's doing the whinning....its Senator McCain and his campaign. Senator McCain is a disgruntle, bitter old man who can't stay on message because he more worried about the attention Obama is getting. Instead of talking about what he will do to improve the economy, he's more concerned about Obama and what he's doing. Try concentrating on your own campaign or at least what will help the American people.

Mc'Cain should be very happy the press didn't give him much coverage during the week that O'bama was out of the country because he did nothing but make a royal fool out of himself for the entire week.

Actually, I think I agree with Mc'Cain that the press spends more time on O'bama than on him, but that is in Mc'Cain's favor because most of the press on O'bama is negative (like Jessie Jackson 24x7 for a week). The press also ignores all of Mc'Cain's gaffes and flip-flops so that, too, takes away from the press attention.

Personally I think that Mc'Cain should be thanking his lucky stars that the press doesn't pay more attention to him because all the does is make gaffes and does flip-flops and he doesn't want them publicized.

Given this advisor's comment, at least we know why McCain was such an enthusiastic supporter of the Iraq occupation.

And I'm sick of the discrimination against John McCain and his ilk. I'm not talking about the attacks on his age or on the fact he has skin cancer. I think he is being discriminated against just because he was among the stupidest guys in his class in war college. So what if he jokes about rape, votes against Martin Luther King Day for a national holiday and against other civil rights legislation. He's a regular guy and you just expect arguably the stupidest guy in his class to do such things. And what's really galling, he may not even have been the stupidest guy in his class -- he was 894th out of 899 so arguably there are 5 guys who were even dumber.

STOP DISCRIMINATION AGAINST THE STUPID. Just because McCain is among the stupidest graduates of his war college doesn't mean he shouldn't be elected commander-in-chief so he can put the ideas he mislearned in war college into practice, lives, limbs, US interests and costs be damned.

Let's end discrimination against the stupid being President once and for all. We went a long way with W. Let's take it all the way and elect arguably the stupidest guy who ever graduated war college -- John McCain.

And he's probably a fun guy to have a beer with (although I doubt it). Well, maybe one of Cindy's beers.
