Arizona Republic:

For weeks, Sen. John McCain's campaign has quietly resisted calls to dump one of his leading religious representatives who critics say is an inappropriate surrogate because of links to allegations of sexual impropriety.

At least three religious groups have asked the McCain campaign to remove Deal W. Hudson from its national Catholic-outreach group. The groups say Hudson, who quit President Bush's political team in 2004 amid similar calls, lacks the moral authority to represent the campaign on religious issues.

Hudson left a tenured professorship at Fordham University in New York after a 1994 incident in which he was accused of having sex with a freshman. He was never charged with a crime.

He's a name on a list, a volunteer. When are we going to start talking about gas prices, jobs and the issues facing Americans? The McCain campaign is all done with the 'gotcha' games," said Tucker Bounds, a McCain spokesman.

I hope someone in the MSM pulls out this statement next time they play gotcha.

Why, in heaven's name, would a Repug ever drop a child molester from his ranks of supporters? Sexual deviancy is the Repug past time. And if you think that's not true check out this link that lists ALL the sexual criminals that are part of this disgusting, morally repellent, Party:

McCain perspective:

Hitting on younger women other than your wife?

Is there a problem, officer?

Give the guy a break. At least, he didn't hit on an altar boy.

This is a step up for Republicans ... at least this one is having sex with someone of the opposite sex ... even though he did (for obvious reasons) have to resort to the old "plying with alcohol" trick.

The only thing that would cause me to defend this McCane supporter is the nature of his accusers: se phobic puritians the man had sex with another consenting adult.

To all you hysterical prudes: get used to it! Sex is here to stay.

Good God. If the republicons are forced to get rid of those accused or convicted of se xual misconduct, they wouldn't have many people left from which to choose:

The Church prohibits premarital sex. Like all Republican men, this guy talked like a Christian and acted like a satyr in real life.

Nevertheless, both teacher and student were adults. So if they wanted to do the nasty, it is kinda nobody's business except the university's. Fordham apparently didn't feel it was enough of a transgression to fire the guy even though it was at the very least unethical.

Than it should not be anyone's business when women use contraceptives or, when those fail, have an abortion. And yet John McCain and this guy would very much make it their business and with no consequences for their gender......

Every time "sex" is mentioned in regard to the McCain campaign, it reminds me: Where is Vicki Iseman?

Seriously, her disappearance after that NYT story is the strangest thing I've seen. No follow-up. No statement. No media interest. No photos of her at work.

Is she in a government protection program? Can you imagine this kind of silence if the rumored affair had been with an OBAMA "campaign friend and prominent lobbyist?"

Even the more important accusation--that McCain used undue influence on behalf of her and her company--has been utterly ignored.

Why????

Neocons and trolls.............Here is your 'religious right'.
All holier then thou...........the religious right is nothing but a bunch of backward, ignorant pedophiles and perverts that molest children.

Was the freshmen over 18? Was the encounter consentual? So what's the problem? Are we religious bigots now?

Was Monica over 18?

Was the encounter with Monica consentual?

But the big question is: Did Clinton run on a platform of moral superiority?
