Just Jared:

George Clooney joins Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, for lunch on a yacht in Saint Tropez, France today.

Cindy, 42, went jet skiing with her husband after the three of them sunbathed on the deck of the yacht.

George, 47, relaxed on the yacht, spending most of his time in the sunshine reading a book and newspaper.

After hanging out in Saint Tropez for awhile, they all made a stop to the little village of Eze and visited U2 singer Bono's house.

Geezus. Do these people ever work? There's Michael Douglas getting drunk next to Kathryn Zeta Jones then later his sleeping it off on their friend's YACHT. Then there's Bruce Willis swimming with his latest babe off the side of a YACHT. Now George and Cindy are hanging out on a YACHT. No wonder I don't feel sorry for them when the paparazzi snap their pictures. It's a small price to pay for their indulgent lives of luxury while ninety-eight percent of the people in this country have to work their tails off 24/7 and our lucky if they can afford a motel room three blocks from the beach. Sorry if I sound bitter but when you keep getting smacked by an onslaught of photos of the stars yachting it up in the super market tabloid stands and now even in the Huffpo -- it can get to you after a hard day.

What Huffpost didn't mention is that they came to see Bono just after I left. But don't worry. I won't hold it against you :).

George is an average actor. He is a legacy from his family. Seriously, name a movie that he gave a good performance in.
Batman- garbage
Oceans 11, 12 & 13- ANYONE could have performed as well.

He was pretty good in Syrianna and Michael Clayton, and flat out great in O Brother Where Art Thou.

When you make a list of these actors' great roles (Jolie, Clooney, Roberts, etc), it isn't so much that they had to make a great leap in personality - - they had a role that matched their existing personalities (or even physical type) and were coupled with great writing/directing.

I say this not to belittle the great roles they had but to point out that they are not expansive in their acting skill set like DeNiro, Streep, Spacey, Seymour-Hoffman, Frances McDormand, William H. Macy, etc.

I do have to take issue with how many actors, new businesses, etc., all seemed based more on legacy (name recognition) than anything else though.

George's talent is underrated because he's just so damn fine looking. It's distracting sometimes! He can do comedy and drama, he can direct, he's an activist and looks better in a suit than anyone ... hell's bells, what more do you want? George ... call me!

BUT HE'S DISHY!!!

I'm kinda digging "George Clooney the activist" . Its great when celebrities bring the spotlight that follows them to issues that need to be addressed,.

p.s. didn't he win an Oscar for Syriana?

I understand that by the very nature, "entertainment" news is light, but really... this is absurd. Applegate, Shia Labeouf(sp?)'s hand, the gun shots at Usher's party, Olsen's request for immunity... things that actually happen to the actors, producers, directors... fine.. but this? No. We might as well just say "George Clooney went to the bathroom today and used 9 pieces of toilet paper."

Please, HuffPo..... please start reporting true news on the entertainment industry versus this type of crap.
