TMZ:

John McCain's mouthpiece has responded to Paris Hilton's stinging retort -- but he's not attacking Hiltie!

In the unkindest cut of all, McCain's spokesperson Tucker Bounds tells TMZ that on the subject of energy, Paris is deeper than Barack. He says, "Sounds like Paris is taking the 'All of the Above' energy approach that John McCain has advocated -- both alternatives and drilling. Perhaps the reality is that Paris has a more substantive energy plan than Barack Obama."

Just hours ago, FunnyOrDie posted a video of Paris calling McCain "wrinkly" and pitching a hybrid energy policy.

Hilton actually states Obama's position on off-shore drilling - and McCain says she has a better plan! Have they already forgotten that last week they were accusing him of "flip-flopping" on off-shore drilling when he proposed this same approach?

Well, we can thank Paris for emphasizing OBAMA's energy plan.

When you lack substance you do what the Bush team did for his two terms in office. You revert to CHARACTER ASSASSINATION and divert the attention away from the fact that you do not have a grasp of the issues nor do you have anything resembling a platform or most importantly, any solutions to any problems. Mc's people are following this tradition to a tee. Even Tucker Bounds should have enough intelligence to see that Paris's video was a parody and that her words were SCRIPTED by another and not hers. But, again, the repub flack took it upon himself to twist the truth into something ugly diverting the attention of the uninformed. Good work on Bound's behalf, he made daddy Rove proud.

Energy Policy... You all know what is going to happen. Big Oil will drop gas prices to about $3.50 a gallon. Americans will think it is cheap. The energy crises will be over by November and Big Oil Boy McCain will be elected. Gas prices will jump to $7 a gallon by year two of his presidency. American voting suckers will feel screwed, but then prices will drop to get McCain elected a second term.

Maybe Paris Hilton will save us then?

Paris, I've got to hand it to you on this ad. Very clever. Didn't think you had it in you.

Of course a McCain Flack will demean Barack Obama. That's what they do. Did they got a group rate when they did the team's Character Abortion?

Never thought I would see the day when Paris Hilton became hero of the left. How short sighted of me.

The reality is that Paris has a more substantive energy plan than John McCain.

As a bonus, the oil companies don't own her, either.

Good one. This puts McDrool in his place. Imagine, we are supposed to elect McDrool because his disparaging remarks compare Barack with Paris. This round to Paris; Paris one, McDrool zero!!!

Perhaps the reality is that Paris Hilton gave John McCain a bitch slap. Thanks, Paris. You did a good thing.

Anyone else notice the part about the tan? So, Paris is happily going to increase her carbon footprint to make herself look less white, more brown. As others in this thread mentioned, her plan is very close to Obama's compromise deal.

These things almost make up for the part where she wrinkles up her nose and refers to Obama as "that other guy."

Whoever wrote this was funny. It's just too bad Paris isn't very eloquent, or it would have been hilarious.

Much needed comic relief from no other than Paris Hilton!

McCain should hire the people who put out the Paris Hilton video. They have a keener understanding of both humor and issues.
