Dem-On-Dem Attack Ad Hits Jewish Rep. For Visiting "Our Churches"

This brutal new attack ad from House candidate Nikki Tinker, who is challenging liberal Tennessee Rep. Steven Cohen in tomorrow's Democratic primary, just might be the nastiest, most race-baiting (and Jew-baiting) ad of the entire cycle:

"While he's in our churches, clapping his hands and tapping his feet ... he's the only senator who thought our kids shouldn't be allowed to pray in school," the announcer says, referring to an old vote against school prayer from when Cohen was a state senator. And remember, this is coming from a Democrat.

Tinker as a "Worst Person". I''m Black and a Democrat. What makes me proud about being both is that we know when wrong is wrong, I don't care what color you are. I live in California so maybe my opinion doesn't matter but as a C-Span junkie I have seen Mr. Cohen in many hearings and he never, ever dissapoints when it comes to the hard questions. I love the guy and I'm pissed!

Tis ad is simply a follow up to a series of campaign fliers put out earlier this spring by the local Baptist preachers claiming that Rep. Cohen was an anti-Black Jew and that Nikki needed to be elected.
The Ford family remains silent throughout so one can only surmise that the DLC supports Nikki and her ad campaign...

The myth that a woman, any woman, when handed power will use it more wisely and with a gentler hand than any man. The people who believe that myth apparently slept through all the history they were ever exposed to. History abounds with women in power using it in exactly the same heavy handed and evil ways that men have. Messaline, Victoria, Catherine, Diane, and Nancy are all examples, old and new, of women who are so dazzled by power that they forgot why it was given to them and they have aided and abetted the crimes of those men that they should despise.
