Dickipedia: Michelle Obama

Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama (born January 17, 1964) is the wife of U.S. senator, presumptive presidential candidate, and Oprah panty-moistener Barack Obama. She is also a lawyer, terrorist fist-jabber, and a dick.

More than anything else, Michelle Obama is a dick by association. That is, her dickery really isn't based on who she is, but rather the roles she selects (e.g. glorified spokesmodel), and whatever crowd it forces her to come in contact with (e.g. the entire panel of The View, with maybe the exception of Joy Behar--maybe).

What this entry showed me is that Dickipedia is really falling down on the job. They have an entry for likable Michelle Obama but none for DONALD RUMSFELD???? Why couldn't the author have worked on an entry for someone who deserved it?

It would have been funny if she really were a d*ck. Instead, I was simply reading a run-down of her background and achievements, interspersed with the word, "d*ck." And most of the d*ick-ishness cited were people's reaction to her, not her own. Just because you repeat the label often enough doesn't make it valid -- or funny.

Michelle Obama is hardly in the same company as Cheney, Giuliani, Kim Jong-Il, Warren Jeffs, Ann Coulter, et al. -- some *real* d*icks. As we've learned from the New Yorker debacle, satire has to have a firm basis of truth to be effective. My vote for a new Dickipedia entry: Dickipedia. ;-)

I am a republican and I have the greatest respect for Michelle Obama. She is a tough lady, like Cindy, in a tough business [politics]. Unless a candidate's wife begins to opine on the oppostion how about leaving them alone. If they want to be a player, then strap it on and take the hits. For over a year on this site, many, many Obama supporters have trashed the Clintons and it wasn't satire. Now, hypocrites that they are, they are hypersensitive about their candidate and his wife.
