Paul McCartney And Nancy Shevell On American Road Trip

Mccartney Shevell

Daily Mail:

After the ordeal he went through with Heather Mills, it is something of a surprise to find Paul McCartney down on one knee in front of another girl.

But while the word is that their relationship is flourishing, for now at least he was merely taking a holiday snap of Nancy Shevell.

The couple were taking a stroll in the popular tourist town of Sante Fe, New Mexico, stopping off there during a month-long road trip across seven US states.

Sir Paul, 66, and his 47-year-old heiress girlfriend are fulfilling the star's lifelong dream to travel along Route 66 in an old Ford Bronco truck.

I'm guessing this is important because Paul McCartney could have been the Democrats presidential nominee.

Am I correct?

That's nice they're taking a road trip. Did you see this video yet Paul?

there is nothing more pathetic than a man who is afraid to be alone...he is a sad, weak serial dater. this one looks just like the last one....very odd.

Aside from Howard Hughes name a man of Paul McCartney 's net worth who has chosen to be alone?

i am not suggesting a monastic life, merely a pause between relationships. he practically flew into another marriage after his wife linda died. not healthy.

Paul was seen at a local gas statiion with 4 young men in a small town in central IL during this trip last week. He was on his way to St. Louis and Rt 66 runs right through here. He let his girlfriend take a picture of him with these 4 young men. They said he was very polite and cheerful. I wish I could have been there. I remember when the Beatles played on the Ed Sullivan show. I freaked out because my older sister was in the living room pulling out her hair and crying over it.

Have a great trip, Sir Paul. I hope to see you.

Back when Paul married Heather I found it creepy she had the same name and was the same age as is eldest daughter . Now he comes up with Nancy who looks errily like his other daughter Mary.
Perhaps he likes to play "daddy's girl" in the bedroom.

The Chicago Sun-Times has a couple of articles about people encountering Paul on his trip.

I think Paul shoud hook up with Yoko Ono. The would make a great couple. He could teach her how to write a real song with hummable melodies, and she could teach him how to break up a world acclaimed band.

Sounds like you are still pretty heavily personally invested in things that happened a long, long time ago.

Don' t be so serious pal. It was a joke. We all know Yoko didn't break up The Beatles. It was May Pang.

It's got to be a relief for Paul to have Harridan Heather out of his hair on a day-to-day basis. Other than being badly in need of some Boca Burgers and a mountain of sweet potato fries (looks like she's lost quite a bit of weight), Nancy seems like a mature, level-headed sort and if Paul's happy, his fans are happy. He seems to have much better luck with American gals, anyway. But, Paul, please .... PRE-NUP! Get married here in the States and sign on that dotted line, boy-o. Be happy ... but be smart, too. Now, go and enjoy your holiday like a good lad.

I like her- seems like a good match for a change.

I'm guessing that Nancy has grown through her difficult experiences (cancer for one) and has the capacity to mother Paul, which is the kind of woman he needs. He has the money and time to pamper her and she has the patience and self confidence (and her own money) to give him the nurturing he needs...what both he AND John Lennon needed. Heather was never capable of that...golddigger all the way.

For all the pleasure that man has given me, and milliions, I wish them both the best.

Agreed--and if his children are OK with her, then I think this will work for both of them. Enjoy your trip, Sir Paul!

Since Paul is older, perhaps it is she who needs a father figure.

I've logged thousands of miles of travel across the US, and one thing I know to be true (at least in my own experience) is that if you can travel well together, you can live together. The Route is a beautiful journey, and I'm glad to see that the pair have decided to do it as "jus' folks." That, my friends, is a smart couple. I think that Paul is an intelligent man, and she seems to be a good match for him. I wish them both happy happy joy joy.
