She did not cheat on Billy Joel. He's had substance abuse issues for years and rams cars into trees as a hobby, it seems. He once drunkenly told a reporter that Christie was not very bright and it became public. That's pretty obnoxious. She inspired some great music, including Innocent Man, Uptown Girl, and others. He's a gifted performer but not don't deify the guy!
I admire her strength and resiliancy; she doesn't take any crap from men, unlike some political wives we have seen. Having a life of one's own is so important because if 2 out of 3 marriages end in divorce, what allows one to recover is having one's self in tact. If you wrap your whole life around the roots of one man and morph into a mere extension of him, then what happens should he saw your limb off his tree? Good for Christie! In my next life, I am requesting that I look like her, only that I have Janis Joplin's vocal range, Sylvia Plath's poetic ability, and Candace Parker's jumper...

For the photoshop "yeller".......could we see a photo of you in your early 20s and a photo of you now?

I am so sick of Christie Brinkley and her attempts at a second career at the cost of her children! Doesn't anyone remember how she cheated on Billy Joel? What goes around comes around and I, for one, don't care whether her now-husband cheated on her. Don't you think there is more important things to discuss than Ms. B's comeback?

It wasn't too hard to understand that she was getting divorced again. But what was hard to understand was the stories that were being told. "They" or should I say more "he" needed to watch porn to get in the mood? First thing that I thought when I heard that is "did I hear that right?" Your wife is Christie Brinkley and you need porn to get in the mood? What does that have to say about what’s on your mind or where it's at for that matter? Or that you even have a mind to begin with? O well, handsome good looking guys don't mean that there very smart. I guess that some of will just have to suffer with being plain looking geniuses.

For all of those who are crying "Photoshop!"......

You can take something beautiful and airbrush it to perfection. But you can't exactly airbrush something ugly to beautiful.

Beauty is multifaceted and comes in all forms -- but I doubt highly that very many people could find Christie Brinkley "ugly". Deriding her beauty by snidely pronouncing "Photoshop!" is as useless a remark as walking up to an 18th century Queen Anne armoire and shout "varnish!".

I wonder if it is some form of jealousy?
