Chris Matthews Battles Full-On PUMA Inanity

Because today is Catharsis Day at the convention, we figured we better do like Aristotle says in the Poetics and hit you with a double dose of pity and fear so you can purge both your raw, untamed emotion and your hope that life in America will ever get better for anybody. So, to that end, here's a video of Chris Matthews talking to a trio of PUMAs -- women who love Hillary Clinton whilst simultaneously hating the policies for which Clinton has fought. They are the total hot mess of the Democratic Convention.

Watch as they level bizarre accusations at Barack Obama (RELATED: "CNN debunks false report about Obama"), and then refuse to accurately cite the source of their claims. Maybe it was Lanny Davis or something! See, I don't know, and neither do they, but I can tell you, if I had tried to apply the same sort of "reasoning" in college, my professors would have knocked me unconscious and tossed me in a ditch, far from town.

Anyway, if possible, you should burn your computer after watching this. That is all.

And your comment creates a dozen more. Neither Obama nor his camp understood the dynamics of this segment of the voters way back in May. There's nothing the Democrats can do because they see the problem as being with "the other guys" or should I say "gals". As long as a person doesn't critique himself, he literally gives the steering wheel to someone else. And that's what's happening. And we're living through all the superficial glitzy stuff of Obama's early campaign but now it's Palin the star because she's "new" and Obama is already old, consumed, extinguished.

Please...this is no Democrat! She's clearly a Rethug plant. She reeks of Karl Rove. She's a fraud; just like Darragh Murphy and Will Bowers the founders of PUMA, who are REPUBLICANS!!!!!

Any of these PUMAS who vote McBush/Palin are just idiots, especially given Palins ultra Right wing views on EVERYTHING including, women's rights, abortion etc.

All this none sense about some people thinking that not voting for senator O is punishing senator, what a load of old crap. O president or not,he is secured. No matter who is in Power Senator O has a major role to play in not just America's politics but the world Politics. He is shaping up as possibly the world's peace negotiator, who has the oratory power and eloquence to convince people from all different sorts of origin to wanna sit down and dialogue.

Your vote is only going to affect your life. O will always have free health care coverage for himself and his family or will always be able to afford it. Not so much about you.

O will always be able to feed his family and put a roff over their head, can the ordinary man make that same claim?

Please when people start talking abt all the "I Wil Vote for JMC". dont think that affects O lifelihood or life style in any way.

Definitely Coulter's twin. And definitely wrong.

What Matthews should have asked was why Obama's religion is even an issue.

These women are the very reason I am afraid that Obama may not win this election? When you have individuals who uncompromisingly are stupid, and you give them the power to vote, what you have is a train wreck waiting to happen. These people will believe that Obama is harboring Osama bin Ladin in his Chicago home, if you put it out there. God help America!

Ann Coulter clone !!....

Thank you that"s exactly what I thought.
Spews inflammatory bile and lies.

This is not a Hillary girl¦¦that 's a McCain / Rove/ Bush babe. ...fox and friends.....

Accusing women of putting their gender before country¦.is equally as demeaning as accusing Obama of being willing to loose a war to win an election and as ridicules as painting him an elitist muslim.
Now why does that sound so "Roveian"?.....LOL

Don"t drink the cool aid.

The Hillary voters who pretend to disenfranchises are republicans who would have voted for McCain to begin with.

Nothing would have fueled the republican hate machine more then putting Hillary on the ticket and attempting to put Bill back in the white house to roam the halls.

Barack does not want any of that drama, he wants to move on and bring us together to bring the country back on track

This looks like a pander desperation move from the McCain/ Rove camp.
LOL

Refusing to reveal a source of "truth" seems like a way of concealing the fact that it isn't a truth. If this ranter were convinced of the veracity of her source, she'd want to share it with the world in order to enlighten them, too.

THE TITLE OF THIS ARTICLE SHOULD BE CHANGED unless the author knows/confirms that these women were PUMAs/Dems -- otherwise, it's completely misleading and makes the Dems look like jackasses, when in fact it's just an obvious campaign trick by the Republicans.

I'm not sure if these are the same women Randi Rhodes referred to, but she said on air she had researched who "these PUMA's were" and found out they were Republican activists... she also said they left in a white Suburban. That doesn't sound very Democratic to me. Does anyone know anything else about these B-------s (Blondies)?

The founder of the supposedly pro-Hillary / anti-Obama PAC, Darragh Murphy, has been outed as a Republican. She openly lies and describes herself as a lifelong Democrat, and in 2000 she donated $500 to John McCain"s primary campaign--check out the easily and legally accessible FEC filings of her donation. FEC records confirm that she made a large donation to the McCain campaign in 2000, but made no donations to any Democratic candidates. She also voted for McCain. More details here:
