Southwest To Cut 22 Flights At Midway
Southwest Airlines Co. is eliminating 22 flights from Midway Airport, the most cuts of any city, as it adjusts its winter flight schedule to offset the high cost of fuel and fewer flyers.
The Dallas-based carrier is trimming 196 flights from its overall schedule starting Jan. 11. Some routes, such as one between Nashville, Tenn., and Oakland, Calif., are being eliminated entirely.
