The Clintons Meet With Biden

DENVER - It was, perhaps, the night's most important unseen moment of unity.

Following Hillary Clinton's celebrated speech on Tuesday, she and Bill Clinton met privately backstage with Joe Biden.

The Clintons' relationship with Biden goes back decades, and through much of the primary season, Biden frequently touted Hillary on the campaign trail and during debates, seemingly auditioning for a cabinet spot in her administration.

So what did they discuss last night? Was the meeting joyful or maybe a little awkward? Clinton and Obama reps did not immediately respond to emails.

As far as I am concerned, the Clintons delivered, hit home runs for Obama. It is unfortunate that they both supplied John McCain with so much ammunition for the general election. I hope they get out there and campaign for our country because the results of this election can either save us or kill us.

In the meantime, hope no one is forgetting that Senator Harry Reid and 17 other "democrats" voted for the bankruptcy bill. Do you wonder how many people have committed suicide after being lured into using multiple bank cards? We hear about the banks being bailed out and the FDIC moves in when need be, but don't forget that regulation by Congress and review of banking practices by the Clinton and Bush administrations could have prevented the current crisis.

Unless you have walked in his shoes, you do not have the right to criticize those early steps to this spot. Unless y ou have lived the life of a person of color, you do not know the experience and the choices that are available for you to make. Has he ever been in charge of ANY large organization? Well his campaign was bankrupt until he skirted campaign finance laws and took out a $4 million loan based on his matching funds during the primary. He subsequently opted out of the matching funds; rendering his loan collateral fraudulent.
Is it his character? Well he dumped his disabled 1st wife while having an affair with his beer mistress. He has been intimate with a lobbyist, and subsequently exerted influence on her behalf.
Is it his foreign policy "credentials"? Well on the biggest issue facing this country since WWII, the war on terror, he was WRONG by supporting the war in Iraq costing 4150+ American lives; abandoning Afghanistan.
He is wrong on Iran; the Bush administration is NOW talking to Iran after 7 years of misguided bluster. He tried to provoke a confrontation with Russia over the Georgian conflict; his campaign foreign policy "expert" is a lobbyist for Georgia.
Domestic issues? The gas tax rebate was exposed to be pandering; he has stated he knows nothing about the economy. His health care plan will enrich the insurance companies.
