SC GOP Ad For McCain Nothing But POW

To our knowledge, this new ad from the South Carolina Republican Party is the first ad to focus exclusively on McCain's POW captivity.

The spot is set to run in Minneapolis starting tomorrow and through the GOP convention, a South Carolina GOP spokesperson confirms. It hits directly back at Obama for his criticism of McCain's number-of-houses flub

If he wants to run on his POW record then tell him to unseal them so that the public can see them. His sealing all of the records that the other POWs and MIA families wanted released (which the House passed 401-0) may have meant men left behind. Why doesn't the media ask him about that?

The downside to his heroism is starting to be the important story...

What is all this talk about McCain being a POW at one time? From here, it appears he is still a prisoner -- of antiquated approaches to complex problems, of shortsightedness in visionary times. He is not a prisoner of war anymore; he is in that cell of his own device called his political ideology, he is POI.

Okay, everybody gets it. McCain was a POW. He's got to stop using that as a crutch. This happened over 40 years ago, unless he still harbors some deep rooted resentment. And that would not be good for us as americans. He does not have the right temperament to be president. He is too hotheaded. He certainly was not the only POW, most people don't even like to talk about that stuff, much less in a campaign ad, over and over again. He is politicizing it now, it is going to lose it's appeal if he keep it up.

So the conclusion is that McCain forgot the number of houses he and his wife have because he is a POW. WOW !!!

He was POW ..41 years ago.... He forgot to remember (doesn't know) the number of houses he and his wife got .... at age 72 ....
