What Obama Must Do Tonight

The Clintons have done their jobs, each delivering a powerful, effective oration.

Ditto wife Michelle. If there's anyone in America who still thinks the Obamas read the Koran and chant anti-war slogans at home, they missed the missus and the bouncing daughters on TV.

Now, as the expression goes, it's time for the candidate to do his job. And, with all due respect to the Beatles, Barack Obama will not be able to get by with a little help from his friends. He's going to have to make his case himself in his acceptance speech tonight, explaining in simple but not simplistic terms why he should be president and the other guy shouldn't.
